It's normal for a mother to want to protect their son from being hurt. Quite honestly in this situation I would try to get my son to leave you just for that reason. Especially because you were with an ex...I would think that maybe there were still feelings there and it might happen again. Has your boyfriend forgiven you?...that is all that really matters right now. If things go good and no more mistakes happen like this I'm sure the mother will come around.

Well, the best thing you can do is just don't do it again. What you have done is not connected to >>>every one makes mistake<<<. You are in charge of your daily activities. No one dictates you how to do it. You make love cause you like it, simple as that. Sincerely apologize, and if your boyfriend have an open mind and really love you, truly he'll forgive you.

Not sure why you're so worried about what his mother would think.
But okay, here goes, put yourself in her position, if you had a son who you thought the world of, and his girlfriend cheated on him. Would you think that this girl would be worthy enough for your son?
I'm going to say probably not.
However, you really need to try to resolve this with your boyfriend. You made a choice by cheating, you did the right thing by telling him, and now you need to deal with the consequences. Best of luck to you.

That is quite a harsh thing to do, so i can understand where she's coming from. Anyway, its not up to her on whether you and your boyfriend should be together she must let him decide for himself. But i will warn you that you have caused bad history in the relationship and this will always come up and be an issue, it will also give him something to use against you.
Don't do it again. I know from experience. Hope things work out.

If I was his mother Id tell him once a cheater always a cheater and that there's someone out there for him that will love him for the good , bad and the ugly and they would never think of cheating.........

If he forgives you then it is nothing to his mother. And my question is how does she know. It will be hard to trust you but if he is willing to do it then go for it.
