A long time ago Christianity was about enlightening the common people.
Somewhere along the line it became about controlling and judging others.
A sad turn of events.
Love and blessings Don

In your question, were you being judgmental in saying that people are judgmental? There is a difference between judging and pointing out wrong behavior and giving a reminder. I think judging is more along the lines of I'm right and you're wrong so you will be burning in Hell for all of eternity. I've seen many Christians say things along those lines.
May God Bless you.

Yeah the old saying is true, the biggest sinners sit in the first few rows of pews in the church..
I have noticed on here a lot of fellow people are very judgmental and I often wonder if they realize how judgmental that are.
And you are very correct as a christian the only person capable of judging is God.

I'm here to be a small voice that says, hey man made up theology. It always has been mythology.
It is amazing that in this day and age, people still believe in supernatural deities.
Man would do better to be free of chains of superstitious ignorance. How many humans are willing to kill other humans over their made up deities?

Please don't lump all Christians in with religious right-wing zealots. You are being way too judgmental.
I am Christian and am very tolerant of other religions. I don't fear my God or deny you the right to worship your God. I don't believe that everyone who doesn't worship my God is destined for Hell. I don't believe that Christianity is the only true religion.
God created a wonderous world and made mankind in His image. He endowed us, above all other beings, with the power of emotion, intelligence, choice, thought, desire.........
And as a result, we are all different. Free will allows us to shape our destiny in the way that suits us best.

Yes. I saw your previous Q but I didn't have an answer for you so I didn't answer. Which is just what all those holier-than-thou christian busy bodies should have done as well.
I hope you got a sufficient answer to your Q after weeding through all the useless answers from people whom, I guess, think you are going to run to their religion now that they have shown you the light. *sighs*
Peace

the problem is what you see as judgment is simply conviction. If I tell you what God has already called wrong Im not judging you Im simply reminding you. To judge I would have to make my own rights and wrongs. Many people are uncomfortable finding out that their actions are against God and they are living in sin...when convicted of it or when it is brought to light they automatically call out that they are being judged...they are but by Holy God not man.

If you spent your life on your knees praying to a god and wasting your time at church week in and week out, you'd be defensive too.
