On internet you can find some Italian food that you can't buy in a local market.
Tesco's or Asda's pasta or pizza are very far from real Italian food...

Fresh ingredients are best purchased..well...fresh.

I would only use the internet to purchase 'dry storage' items (things that do not have to be refridgerated). You can find a large variety of imported italian products such as pasta, wine, olive oils, even cured meats, etc. online.

I wouldn't suggest it. Italian food is best when it's fresh. Just stop at the local Italian restaurant to pick up all of your favorites.

Tescos.com do pasta and pizza. If you live in the States I believe that Walmart does the same (even Alphabet Spaghetti)

I buy eel occasionally, so I can make bisato su'lara. Just remember that only certain eel should be purchased, and be very aware of the types that are good for bisato.

I leave you with this final note.
--------------------
When the eel's five feet long
To cook it is wrong
That's a moray!

Thank you very much!
