He must be a little autistic, or at least attention-challenged, concentrating as he does on the sexual lives and dietary practices of higher mammals on a minor planet. i mean, hasn;t he got other things to do?

Nelson - no one knew God better than King David and he said almost the same thing except he said it with total awe and admiration. David knew what God had done for him. He slew a lion, bear and the giant Goliath as a mere boy with God's help. He knew how powerful God is and how pitiful man is.

This is not against the question asker its against religion.
If there was a god then who created him. I see you christians are too scared to give a direct answer to it. If your gonna reply with some shite like "god is the creator he always was wis wabby flabby yadda yadda..." then dont bother.
Why dont you burst some fekin bubbles in your head and try to think past every step. Whats outside the universe. And outside that?... and outside that?... etc.. I cant answer but I dont stop at GOD GOD GOD. Use your brains. There is no god of what we know to be christian or islamic or jew etc... If there is a god I dont belive its a conscious thing.
Trees give me the breath and air around me, but is not conscious. The sun is looking at me giving light and warmth and life to the tree. Not a concious thing. Cant you think that maybe the thing that created the sun isnt conscious and will never be. The universe. not conscious. None of it thinks in the same was biological engines do. This is a slight bit of somethings I believe.
It came out of MY head not from dead dudes thousands of years ago. My beliefs can change, your not allowed to. There is a word for every facet of religion you can believe. Theres no words for what i believe exept from a smartarses mouth.
Try to define me I dare you.
Im not special as most of my friends think the same way. We have our OWN ideas on it and can change and evolve our thoughts. We can disagree on things but dont kill each other. I better stop b4 i carry on rambling and get pissed off.

In asking that Question, I think you may need to believe in God first, Read the Bible, look at a simple Gospel first like John's. God did make the Universe and it is continues to create, the day God says stop is the Day life as we know it stops. I don't expect you to understand who or what God is. most Christians who are real, started like you, I did, I was stopped and had to pray, with what He did to me, He proved what He is, His power is beyond what is believable, yet He has a care and love for all us stupid and doubting people. I do not know why. But I know He loves and cares for you, as sinful as you are. as He loves a sinful being like me. A wonder beyond wonders

There is no god. God is a man-made fiction.
But you are right, if there was such a thing as a god, and if it did do as many theologies claim, create man, it would have to be a doltish being to be so out of touch with reality as to blame his own creation for its shortcomings, or to believe that he had in some way invented freedom of will. What a delusion.

I would assume it's rather like children and ant farms, check in on them once in a while, possibly remember to feed them, shake them up just to watch them be angry, and if the happen to die, oh well you got plenty more.

God cares for all of his creations, he knows the name of every single star in the universe, he has the hairs on your head numbered, he even cares for each sparrow that falls most of all he care for each one of us that he gave is only begotten son that who ever believes in him will not parish but have everlasting life.

He loves us sinfull human beings so much, that He didn't only send us His only Son to die for all of our sins, but he will still lead us every day, bother with our day to day lives. HE LOVES US!!!
