Yorkies are great because they love to be with u where ever u go my Yorkie only weighs 2.5 pounds she is very healthy and loves going with me everywhere I have a purse for all the places she's not allowed in they don't even no she's in there. There hair does get long but they don't shed and u can always give them what is called a puppy cut it keeps the hair short. My Yorkie was used to being in a purse from three months if u start young they will stay in ur purse good luck.

The perfect dog for someone like you who wants a toy to stay in their purse as some kind of ridiculous status symbol is a stuffed one. The only kind for you!!

im not a huge fan of little dogs, but most dogs can be trained to do almost anything. if you are really intent on getting a small dog, you must be very stern with it, small dogs have the tendancy to take over and get aggressive. you could try a Chinese crested... those are neat. and of course the chiuaua. mini poodle... i would go to a shelter and look around.
