Well it depends on how a day was measured a day like we have now 24 hours, no way, however if a day of those days lasted say a million of our years then yes why not, it beats me how anyone can believe it when man of the time it was written would have no idea what was involved, or what a day was

God created the world in six days. But the Bible tells us that 1 day was like a thousand years and a thousand years was like one day. Everything is possible for our God Almighty

Few. I live in Germany and I have never met anyone who believes in the creation of the world in six days until I visited a Baptist church. The preacher shouted in his sermon how much he wanted everyone to believe the "truth" about the creation of the world and of man, and that he wanted to show these damn scientists the "truth" that is written in the Bible, and shouted about how bad were all other religions, atheists, scientists and homosexuals. But there are only few Baptists or other Evangelicals in Germany.

I'm from Iceland and many of my friends and family members are Christians (Lutherans mostly) and none of them believes god created the world in six days and the way it's described in the Bible. They DO believe that god created the world, but they think the Bible description is just a metaphor and that it didn't happen exactly like that. All of them believe the evolution happened too and they don't feel that it contradicts their beliefs. They believe the evolution might be god's way of doing things.

Your question shows your total ignorance about the Bible. It isn't a history handbook. You must understand that it was written thousands of years ago by people with little of the knowledge we have today. Their message is THAT God created the world, not HOW.
And yes, I know many people outside the USA who believe in the Bible's message.

Well, to put another spin on it, I'm in the USA and from there, and I don't believe for one minute that the world was created in six days. I wonder if the religious beliefs here coincide with the relative poverty of the area. The poorer the part of the US, the more likely they are to be religious?

Yes, Me I am in Canada and a Muslim.
All Muslims believe in the 6 day creation, but we do not believe God had to rest on the 7th this is clearly blasphemous....
[010:003] Surely, your Lord is God Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days and then rose over (Istawâ) the Throne (really in a manner that suits His Majesty), disposing the affair of all things. No intercessor (can plead with Him) except after His Leave. That is God, your Lord; so worship Him (Alone). Then, will you not remember?
[010:004] To Him is the return of all of you. The Promise of God is true. It is He Who begins the creation and then will repeat it, that He may reward with justice those who believed (in the Oneness of God – Islâmic Monotheism) and did deeds of righteousness. But those who disbelieved will have a drink of boiling fluids and painful torment because they used to disbelieve.

You will love my answer. Spiritual people do not believe this.......The actuality is 7 days. The 7th day he rested and it was still a day of creation.and if you think the 7 days are over think again. Creation is not done and will not be completed for another thousand years longer actually.
