God and the devil go together.
If you are saying that the reason many people don't believe in God is because of the actions of The Church them you would not be the first one.
Satan could then be blamed for the Church's reputation. Christianity itself is not the same thing as it's Church though.
Maybe the greatest trick the human race ever pulled was getting rid of Satan and God and starting to take responsibility for it's own bad behaviour.

I think what you are trying to conceptualize is the fact that as of this minute there is no empirical evidence that anything else outside of this world is true. As long as there is no proof that Lucifer exists, then there can be no proof God exists. The minute he reveals himself to the world he proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that God also exists. So why is he waiting? Because the longer he waits, the more humans there are that are plagued by doubt and crises of faith, or simply lose their faith altogether.
And why does he hate the human race so much? Why has he invested so much time and effort into bringing us down? Jealousy. Man was created "a little lower (in rank) than the angels" but because of our free will we have the potential to be more, much more. Think - what will the human mind do with Eternity? Sit around all day and sing hymns? I think not. The power of our minds will be opened, and Einsteinian level quantum physics will be the least of what we learn. Imagine being able to observe and manipulate molecular structure just by willing it. We will be Immortal and Indestructible - imagine taking ten thousand years just to study the far reaches of the galaxy - and to get there just by thinking about it. We're going to be learning, because I believe one of our Purposes will be to start life on other planets, kinda like science projects. The whole universe will be our playground, our schoolroom, our science lab. Eternity, people - Forever. Spending a million years cultivating the beginnings of life on a far-flung planet isn't that long - in fact it's an infinitely short time. Just divide any period of time by infinity and you get an infinitely small amount. In fact, spending a trillion years on a whole world won't be that long at all.
If Lucifer isn't jealous of that potential he's really stupid. He's so jealous he's spent all of history so far trying to take us with him when he goes.

Perhaps he would have created religion in general. Or even stolen and subverted someones great idea for a way of life. Of course the devils in us all, we just feel the need to seperate it from ourself. Not in a religious way. i mean we are all capable of nastyness and when we do lots of us try to blame something else. Its a bit of a paradox really.

SERVENT- get some facts right b4 saying crap like "he didnt invent Christianity but he did invent Islam, Mormanism, Hinduism, Budism.....
all religions are close and sound very similar - the one thing Chrisitanity has that the others dont is a God that came to earth to show us the way - the others say be good but dont worry about that Jesus guy "

Dou you realise that AAAALLLL christianitys holidays like easter and christmas and halloween were STOLEN from pagan beliefs. If you have any guts you will look it up. Everything from the devil (pan god of the forest) to most of the saints (being the demigods pagans worship) were stolen and changed to denounce Paganism as evil. Christianity and islam are also one and the same idiot. They were both born from Judism. the prophet Mohammed and the prophet Jesus are like the sequels to the religion. Islam actually recognises jesus as one of the prophets. I hate religions. They cause nothing but hatred in the long run. Very few ppl actually take the lessons they give and use them wisely.

HI
The greatest trick the devil pulled off was making an accusation to God that people were selfish and lovers of themselves and not God and that God turned the world over to him for a certain amount of time so he could prove his point and be done with this accusation. We are living in the moment when God will take this world back settle this arguement and inprison the devil in the abyss. Or Satan and Devil are the same and they mean slanderer and I can't remember the other. Oh well I think liar

If he is real, then his greatest accomplishment is convincing Christians that the many demoninational different doctrines are of God and that Baptism is not essential for salvation when the bible clearly says it is.

His biggest lie is this, you do not need to be baptized, all you have to do is ask Jesus into you heart and start a personal relationship with christ. No works, faith only. Just say the sinners prayer and you will besaved"

It could be, I think the greatest trick the devil pulled is the belief that a person never dies.

I say that because if all persons believe they go to heaven what need for Jesus to die for us? Even if people so called went to a place of suffering, they are still alive, and the Ransom Jesus did for forgiveness of sins is not really that valuable?

What a trick huh!

Oh my Heavenly Father.

what a good question.

but i don't think so.

what would be the point of creating something which is opposed 2u?? All Christians do not agree with murder, stealing, torture, rape, wanten fornication, idoletry, false religions, i.e. ones that believe in aliens and stuff etc. etc.

ur honest answer is that the devil simply spends his existence trying to deny people the ultimate prize:- to drink from the cup of everlasting life and achieve immortality.

end of story.

Satan the Devil was and always will be the opposer and slanderer of God (hence the names Satan,Devil).

He cannot create a religion that promotes love...but he can create a religion of confusion....many times did Satan tried to destroy tru worship but he cant so he created diversions...false religions. btw, please check out first the difference between Christianity and Christendom/Babylon the Great.

I am also not trying to offend anyone, just telling the truth.

Humans are emotional creatures, and take everything to extremes. Evil plays on that. It took us down and
created the Dark Ages. And it was easy make us think there was nothing but Evil.
Now, our Creator is opening our eyes to prepare us for what will take place. An Earth cataclysm that will open the doors to other dimensions.
So Evil, crafty that it is, plays our extremism to the other
side. Making us think it doesn't exist at all!

No true Christianity is about love and forgiveness Satan or Lucifer is a fallen Angel who wants to rule mankind and at the moment is ruling the world . Hes values are promoted self indulgence ,sexual promiscuity , violence and the attack on family life etc. but it wont last then Christ will return and we all have a choice turn to God through Christ or be lost its up to you.
