first see a neurologist for an accurate diagnosis. There are prescription vitimans like Cerefolin and B12 or folic acid, There are also many drugs used to slow the progress such as Aricept or Namedia. When you are dealing with dementia, it takes an expert to correctly diagnosis and treat. Unfotunately Dementia is progressive but it can be slowed or improved with the right treatment. See a neurologist.

I don't think so, hon. Dementia is when you're really in the final stages. It's fatal. I don't mean to sound insensitive, but I've seen autopsies of dementia patients, and their brains are just mush.
Of course, it doesn't hurt to ask a doctor (which would be better than asking here), but don't get your hopes up.
Good luck..

ginkgo biloba! might help.. it improves memory.
it enhances memory?
im not sure whether it could help a dementia patient?
though if the person has any blood circulation disorders and is on medications such as warfarin then i wouldnt recommend it! speak to the person who sells it? (pharmacist) note: there may be side effects .. as with any medication.
good luck!

you have to find out if it is really a dimentia if its chronic or acute, if it is not chronic you will call it dyslexia. if you feel that you are having dementia go see a physician they knows everything about it and they are the one helping you... do not save for your health! prevention is always better than cure!
