Yes, I also hate when people say constantly "I'm on a diet". Surely one can eat a cheeseburger. What's the big deal?? Just don't eat TWENTY at a time. Right?

Its a world of survival of the situationists.
what is suitable one can be chosen depending on what one wants to be.
once in a way freaking out eating is not an issue, but one can always cutback on carbs by having adequate potein 1gm to 1.5gms per kg body weight and drink water for every 44lbs on liter.
