how can you tell if a guy is saying things to you because he feels that way or just telling you what you want to hear?

First of all words said in the bedroom during a heated moment shouldn't be taken too literally. Just remember that words are simply that..........just words, it's his action that u can really tell the true feelings from. The way he looks at u, they way he touches u, the way he treats u in public, especially around his friends. Take much more to heart from his actions rather than his words. Anyone can say sweet words, but it's the ones that truely live the words that really mean them.

This is a very complicated question, but the fact that you asked it, means that you must doubt a guy.
Never sleep with a guy who you have doubts about...listen to that inner-voice.
Get to know the guy, and observe how he treats you.
Does he show you respect in front of his friends and your friends?
Does he put you down, even in minor things, such as the way you wear your hair or dress?
Or does he tell you that you look pretty every time he sees you and that he's been thinking about you?
Does he pressure you to do anything that you are not comfortable doing?
Listen to your inner-voice and trust yourself.
That can be very hard to do if you're infatuated with someone, but that little voice in your head that warns you briefly at times should be trusted.
Remember, you deserve to be happy and treated with respect!
Choose wisely because you deserve the best.

It all depends on the type of guy your dating i mean is he honest to you all the time. How long have yall been dating? If you feel that the things he says sounds to commerical then most likely it is. Does he look you striaght in the eye?

Beware! Men are slick. They will say and do anything to get what they want and or because they think that is what you want to hear. I would have to say...Keep your eyes open because actions speak louder than words!

live in a present life, u know wht you are. so if urliving inthe present tense, no one can fool u around saying some **** things unless u know they are false, and jus like to be heared beconz no one lese told you that way. so hez ditchin you. dont go for that..

watch his body language, if hes all over the place wiv his words n always lookin down at the floor n every so often lookin into your eyes then he's likely to be tellin u the truth, but if it sound a bit rushed n well spoken then he's practiced sayin it in his head, or hes sed it to another girl,?!

If he says he loves you, but does not call, he does not love you. If he says he respects you, but talks to you disrespectfully, he does not respect you. If he says you are important to him, but you can't get his attention away from the game/the bar/his friends/etc, then you are not important to him.
Basically, don't believe ONE WORD he says. Trust only his actions. It is a good rule of thumb for women too.

Well, you have to take his little head out of his pants and hold it in you hand or mouth while he's talking to you. If it grows then he's telling the turth.
