Many things seem like contradictions because you are dealing with God who is totally beyond our comprehension. Also you are dealing with translation from one language to another and some words just do not have comparable words in the other language. Also there are changes made by different translators depending on they type of translating they do. But in all the overall truth of the Bible remains solid if you just do some study of it. I have studied the Bible over 50 years now, and I can't see these "contradictions" that you speak of. I would give it a little more time and effort.
Personally I would get out of the church of England, they don't have a very good perspective on the Bible to begin with. (That is just a personal opinion)

Firstly, its the bible not bibe.
The Bible is the oldest form of fiction in existence.
It was written by an unknown amount of people.
These people had different views on the same things, so they wrote stories to get the message across that they believed.
If 10 people were at the scene of an accident and were asked for a statement, 4 would be similar, 3 would find fault with the other party, 2 would blame weather conditions and 1 would have blinked and missed it!
The Bible is not truth - it is to help you find YOUR truth.
Use it, take what you need and discard the rest.
If God exists, He is everywhere and will encourage you to be good and follow your heart.

If you are speaking about the bible there is no contradiction, and you can say bye bye to the church of England because it makes the bible contradict. They are not the authority to used the bible. Search for the real religion where God give the authority to understand the bible. In our time, God open the book which was closed and sealed for long time, many religion tried to understand the bible but they failed it makes contradict to them as a result they maid their own doctrines.
There is something wrong seen by GOD to them that's why he did not give authority.
Dan 12:9 And he said, Go thy way Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Dan 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Say bye bye to the church of England, Because England is not the CHURCH, The Bride is the Church, & we all must be born again into that church. There is no contradictions in the bible, A carnal minded person will never understand the bible, But a true spiritual minded person will.

You shouldn't leave the Church of England because the bible contradicts itself. Remember, the bible was rewritten by many scribes and churchmen many times and each time things change according to the view of the writer. If you believe in God then it shouldn't matter what the various books say. Just believe in God as the Creator of the Universe and that He is the Universal Power and don't take the books too seriously. If God wrote those books they would be perfect, not full of flaws.

First, I commend you on your questioning, as it shows you are one who thirsts for truth. I enourage you to continue asking such questions. It's alright to research and to dive more deeply into the Christian faith.
Second, I think an appropriate understanding of the nature of Scripture and how it came to be is necessary. It is not a scientific book nor a detailed recording of history as we have come to think of history nowadays. If you are expecting a detail-for-detail, scientific and/or historically exact book, then you're not understanding what the Bible is and how it should be read. It does require much study.
On the surface, there are places in Scripture that do "contradict," but understanding the nature and proper context of the Bible, one can better understand the totality of the message.
I encourage you to delve into really studying Scripture to see what theologians have wrestled with over the centuries. They have asked the questions you're asking. But the idea that there are superficial contraditions, expect them. They are there. But the overall message of Jesus Christ and the love of God is not a contradiction.
What may seem like a contradiction, may really be a miracle in disguise or something more profound than we really can grasp (i.e., the resurrection of Jesus Christ... life from death? how much more contradicting can you get?)
The one thing to remember is... contradiction does not necessarily equate to falsity. It just demands more study and research for more depth of knowledge, reason and faith.

It is confusing because it isn't the words from this so called god. Its a collection of books from ppl that tell things in their own way. And they add to the story to make it more exciting.(which works on small narrow minded ppl) then in the Roman Emperor Constantine set up a meeting somewhere in Turkey in 325 AD because he wanted to have better control over his ppl. So they finally came up with christianity. This is when jesus was changed from the books saying he was just a prophet, to being the son of a god. they picked and choose the books they wanted, edited some others, and destroyed the rest. Now in modern times we grow up with this religion in our schools and homes, but with our greater knowledge of the world, we know that most of this bible just isn't true. But there r some who just believe it anyway cause they r week minded and easily led, and some who know that its all a pack of lies and laugh at those who believe in it. i.e. the Americans lol, u see them, the craziest religious ppl i ever known.

The Bible perfectly accomplishes all that it is meant to accomplish.
Many expect the Bible to be something more than it is, and so find apparent discrepancies where none exist, or find it inadequate for uses that were never intended.
If you want a book that has few or no apparent discrepancies, buy a good encyclopedia.
If you want a practical and complete religion, based on much more than just the Bible, try Catholicism.

It does seem to be a contradiction but many of the books in the new testament that was written by Paul, were advice, letters and instructions to certain types of people, new churches or groups on how to be Christian. They were all different from one another and so those who were sleeping around he advised them not to do this and to stay with one partner, and for those who were married to stay married or those who were single to stay single. These were all written in different parts of the bible for different cultures and societies. One of the themes of the old testament is the prophesy of the coming of the messiah and one of the themes of the new testament is the fulfilling of that prophesy with the coming of Jesus. Jesus is the altimate sacrifice to give us direct contact with God if we choose to accept and follow Him. It is not the bible that is a contradiction but our interpretation of it that contradicts.

it is the bit approximately killing unbelievers. As an Atheist, I do merely no longer gel with it. If i chanced on you a million.6 billion those that would desire to recite Jabberwocky via Lewis Carroll, could you start to have faith the awareness of this dazzling poem? "Too undesirable you cant convert to judaism if your mom isn't jewish." - confident you could yet you're able to desire to boost right into a strict Jew. "The Quran speaks with authority." - around reasoning. "From hide to hide it is in 1st individual" - No it is not. i presumed you're able to desire to recite it. Surah 18:86 is obviously interior the 0.33 individual. "God says in Quran in case you high quality any contradiction in it, instruct it!" - Do a google seek for "contradictions interior the Qu'ran" "there are a number of different clarification why islam isn't the superb, however the only faith." - and then there is the rational view that merely according to probability, there's no longer a God. Or a minimum of we would desire to continually positioned off concept till some demonstrable, irrefutable information is provided. many human beings hate Islam because of the fact there are some Muslims that use the Qu'ran to justify hurting others and something relax and permit it with out protest. A Dutch Cartoonist attracts a photograph of Muhammad and Muslims initiate protesting calling for his execution. the place are each and every of the "non violent" Muslims that would desire to be protesting and affirming "we are no longer with them." in case you pick us to think of you're something different than violent barbarians, you're able to desire to start offering your self as in any different case and condemning people who don't. Oh, and you're no longer meant to be happy with being an grownup with an imaginary pal. Having an imaginary pal is something to experience embarrassment approximately.
