Allah is the Arabic word for God, just like God is the English word for God. Both words were applied to gods of other religions, as is the word Elohim in the Bible, which means the same thing.
Allah is in fact closer to the a word the Bible uses for God, Eloah, in the book of Job, because Job spoke a language related to Arabic, perhaps an acient form of Arabic.
The Bible does say God is knowable, but also that he is un-knowable, above human understanding. These two concepts are held in tension, as is often the case in the Bible. The modernist mindset likes to see things in black and white, but the ancients realised that life, the universe, and God, are far more complex than we can know, and so it is not surprising that things can have two seemingly contradictorily properties at the same time. It is like wave-particle duality in physics
Sura 6:39 says in translation, "Those who reject our sings are deaf and dumb,- in the midst of darkness profound: whom Allah willeth, He leaveth to wander: whom He willeth, He placeth on the way that is straight."
This is similar to what the Christian Bible says. Compare John 1:5, "The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it." and 3:19, "This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil., and 12:35, "You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. The man who walks in the dark does not know where he is going." and Proverbs 4:18-19. "the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day. The way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know over what they stumble."
There is no Sura 126, the Suras go up to 114
Sura 32:13 says "If We had so willed, We could certainly have brought every soul its true guidance: but the Word from Me will come true, "I will fill Hell with Jinns and men all together." "
Sura 43:36-37 says: "If anyone withdraws himself from remembrance of ((Allah)) Most Gracious, We appoint for him an evil one, to be an intimate companion to him. Such (evil ones) really hinder them from the Path, but they think that they are being guided aright! "
Again, this is not that different from what the Bible says.
1 Kings 22:19-23 (cf 2Chronicles 18:19-22) "And Micaiah said, "Therefore hear the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing beside him on his right hand and on his left; and the LORD said, 'Who will entice Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead?' And one said one thing, and another said another. Then a spirit came forward and stood before the LORD, saying, 'I will entice him.' And the LORD said to him, 'By what means?' And he said, 'I will go out, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.' And he said, 'You are to entice him, and you shall succeed; go out and do so.' Now therefore behold, the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; the LORD has declared disaster for you."
Isaiah 6:8-10 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" He said, "Go and tell this people: "`Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.'
Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed."
Matthew 13:10-16 "The disciples came to him and asked, "Why do you speak to the people in parables?" He replied, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. This is why I speak to them in parables: "Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: "`You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.' But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear." (see also Acts 28:26-27).
You say "The Quran told Muhammad to kill and maim anyone who did not believe in allah or in Muhammad his profit??" Where does it say that?
You also say "Jesus Chris never told his disciples to kill anyone. the difference between our God and god of Islam is God is a loving Father. allah is a demanding master that preaches hatred and not love. am I right??" There you are wrong.
Both the Bible and the Quran have God instructing people to kill certain other people. Jesus may not have done that when he was on earth, but Jesus is God, and God did do that. He told the Israelites to genocide the Canaanites. He is God and he judged that the Canaanites had it coming. And the book of Revelation has Jesus returning to earth symbolised as a warrior on a horse with a sword coming out of his mouth with which to strike down the nations and he will tread them in the winepress of God's wrath.
God in the Bible is also a loving Father, and in the Quran he is also loving. The Quran begins, "1. In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; Most Gracious, Most Merciful"
So you see, God in the Bible and God in the Quran are not as different as most people seem to think.

Allah didn't preach anything. It was Muhammad who came up with all of the words of the qu'ran. He had visions and from these visions he wrote the qu'ran. It isn't quite correct to say that Muhammad wrote the qu'ran. He couldn't write because he was illiterate. He dictated the qu'ran to a scribe. Nevertheless, Muhammad was a warrior and killed numerous people in his career before he became "The Messenger of God". His book reflects this murderous streak which is the main portion of the section called Jihad. You are quite correct. The writings involving Jesus never taught killing; however Christians over the centuries without being told to kill actually killed millions because they did not adhere to the strictest form of Christianity. The Inquisition was only part of it. We say that the earth is flat. This is an absolute doctrine of the church. You say it is round? You die at the stake. Men did this, not religion.

This argument is really getting old. Neither Allah nor Jehovah (or whatever name you prefer) preaches ANYTHING. Men do all the preaching. Men who are motivated by greed and lust. It is men, not Gods, who preach hatred and intolerance and death to all infidels, whatever religion they may be.
What all of you who constantly fight and bicker over meaningless semantics need to shut up and realize, is that you are ALL following religions that originated in the same area of the world, the Middle East. Christianity, Judaism and Islam are ALL from the same geographical area and they all worship the same God, whether you like it or not.
Everyone of you who pushes this "hate the other guy because his religion is different than mine" theme is responsible for the continued violence due to religious intolerance throughout the world. If you really want to change the world, then "be the change you want to see in the world."

You're not even close. Good try, I suppose, but Lord predates the notion of Allah by hundreds of years. Based purely on that, your premise in completely invalidated. Lord is a Middle English word originating prior to 950 AD, which was well before anyone had ever ever heard of Allah, or before he "existed". The name Allah, on the other hand, originated in 1702 and has its roots in the Hebrew word for God, Elohim. You asked about the etymology of the words, and there are several good references available online for you to do so.

I lost track of how many lies you just told... do you know how many?
Does your religion command you to lie? If so, you take the cake as being the best... i'm sure you and Satan are having a jolly good laugh thinking you actually made a point, but you didn't.
By the way... if you spoke Arabic (and had a brain) you would know the moon god is Al-lat.... not Allah.

Allah is an Arabic word that means God, and He is the same God of all messengers and prophets. Muslims can know and feel the love of Allah in this life before the Day of Judgment by feeling pleased and satisfied with whatever life Allah has given them and all His blessings of health, food, education,, etc, and even if someone was ill or poor, this is a test and a blessing from Allah; a test to see how patient and grateful people are no matter how tough life is, and a blessing because when someone suffers in life Allah forgives their sins and increases their rewards in return for their suffering in life.
There are things Muslims do in life that make them know that they are going to heaven as Allah and his Prophet, Muhammad, may peace be upon, promised them. There are basic acts which are the 5 pillars of Islam; believing that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is His messenger, praying 5 times a day, fasting the holy month of Ramadan, paying the yearly almsgiving to the poor, and performing Hajj (pilgrimage). Allah and Muhammad guarantees heaven to be the person's eternal home for those who apply these 5 pillars of Islam.
As for what you mentioned about the Qur'an telling that Allah works with Satan to lead people astray, well you have someone translating the meanings of those verses wrong.
1- Surah 6:39 says: "Those who reject Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) are deaf and dumb in darkness. Allâh sends astray whom He wills and He guides on the Straight Path whom He wills." This means that those who reject Allah are deaf because they refuse to listen and dumb because they refuse to speak the truth. Allah gave people minds and hearts to think, believe and have the ability to distinguish right from wrong, so Allah gave the person the option to believe and follow either the wrong path or the straight path that leads to heaven, and for those who are stubborn and do not believe in Allah, His verses, miracles, signs and proofs, Allah will make them astray because they rejected Him.
2- Surah 126:32:13, sorry but there is no Surah 126, there are only 114 Surahs in the Holy Qur'an, so get yourself a reliable version of the translation of the meanings of the Holy Qur'an :)
3- Surah 43:36,37 says: "And whosoever turns away blindly from the remembrance of the Most Gracious (Allâh) (i.e. this Qur'ân and worship of Allâh), We appoint for him Shaitân (Satan - devil) to be a Qarîn (a companion) to him." "And verily, they (Satans / devils) hinder them from the Path (of Allâh), but they think that they are guided aright!" In the first verse Satan and devil doesn't mean the Satan himself or that Allah works with him as you and many others may think, the meaning here is that whoever rejects Allah and Islam will be exposed to all seductions of this life that Satan makes so that those people who rejected Allah would fall in his traps and be his companion and follower, this is a test from Allah and people should reject these seductions and turn to Him and use their hearts and minds to distinguish wrong from right.
The Qur'an never told Muhammad to kill those who do not believe in Allah unless they fought in war. So what terrorists do like killing innocent non-Muslim people, claiming to be an Islamic act and the demand of Allah or His
Prophet is extremely prohibited in Islam and these terrorists, even if were Muslims, will be punished for what they do.

It matches what I know about Allah.
One thing you did not mention is Muhammad could not read or write. An angel Jabrel spoke the words to Muhammad and he repeated them to someone he knew that could read and write.
However this was after the fact in that Muhammad was by himself when he spoke to Jabrel.
Also, Muhammad spoke to some kind of spirit guide as a boy, and when he did his attitude became evil.

Likewise christians can not know the love of god until judgement day. This is also when you find out if you have made it into heaven. Until then you can guess, make assumptions, and pretend that you know, but you can't.
Jesus may bot have said to kill anyone but god certainly illustrated Macchiavellian charateristics when it came to war and prisoners. And it is the same god.

Allah Is an Arabic word that is why it is not in the Hebrew Old testament, means "The God" literally, but when you translate it refers to God.
God
noun
supreme being: the being believed in monotheistic religions such as Judaism, Islam, and Christianity to be the all-powerful all-knowing creator of the universe, worshiped as the only god
[005:072] Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "God is the Messiah ['Îsâ (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Îsâ (Jesus)] said: "O Children of Israel! Worship God, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with God, then God has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong doers) there are no helpers.
[005:073] Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "God is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no god (none who has the right to be worshipped) but God alone. And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall on the disbelievers among them.
[005:074] Will they not turn with repentance to God and ask His forgiveness? For God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
[005:075] The Messiah ['Îsâ (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary), was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother [Maryam (Mary)] was a Siddîqah [i.e. she believed in the Words of God and His Books (see Verse 66:12)]. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while God does not eat). Look how We make the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them; yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth).
Hmm the verses you refer too, there is no Surah 126...
[006:039] Those who reject Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) are deaf and dumb in the darkness. God sends astray whom He wills and He guides on a Straight Path whom He wills.
[043:036] And whosoever turns away blindly from the remembrance of the Most Gracious (God) (i.e. this Qur'ân and worship of God), We appoint for him Shaitân (Satan – devil) to be a Qarîn (a companion) to him.
[043:037] And verily, they (Satans/devils) hinder them from the path (of God), but they think that they are guided aright!
You should read the Qu'ran its the last and final revelation.
If you want to believe your little theory that Satan makes fair seeming to you go ahead, but know on the Day of Judgment I am innocent of the deeds that you do, while you are innocent of the deeds that I do. To me my religion, to you your religion
Peace Be with You
