Ok skins for electronics...mytego.com / tat2it.com has a great selection of almost any electronic skin you can imagine, from cell phones to gaming devices....and it's all personalize-able. They have an awesome skin builder a very user friendly and entertaining tool! It's a kick to create your own skin using these guys! They advertise that if there's a device you have that is not listed, they should be able to do it for you and add your item to the list!
You can also go the ebay route, as there are tons of sellers and I'm sure a few specailize in the products you own with lots of options and the competition and pricing is great!
If your looking for skins for your computer applications like Media Player, etc. you can do an online search for skins and add the name of the program you want a skin for. I've always enjoyed finding skins and visualizations for my media player online.

For what I know in golf, playing skins is having a small bet within the flight on every hole. The golfer with the lowest score for the hole wins the bet for the hole. If there are two or more lowest scores, the bet will be carried over to the next hole and all four players in the flight will compete. If a player returns with a lowest score for the hole, he wins two skins. If the bet is $1 per hole, he will get $6; $2 from each of the other three players.
Skins probably refer to negligible amount in betting.
