It's meant to be their religious duty to 'save' others by showing them the 'right' way.
Unfortunately it tends to annoy many people (like u and me) and the Christians don't realise that they're actually pushing people away by being so irritating.

Christians follow the standard set by Jesus Christ of Nazareth when He walked this earth. He lived a life reflecting Love and never forced anyone into a religion. Followers of Christ do the same today. God's love is reflected in a Christian's life - all circumstances, situations, challenges and good or bad life experiences are filtered through God's Word. That is why one could easily feel forced but the truth is Christianity is a way of life with God the focal point. Therefore, everything a Christian is, does or ever will be contains God and an overwhelming joy that can not be contained but shared with others. God's powerful love does all the work while Christians enjoy the journey.
Have a Great Day!

I can't understand how you would think that
1. This is the religion section, and there are people asking questions and others answering them I can't see how any of this could force religion on some one, if some one doesn't want to know they simply don't have to read the question or answer they do not want to hear or should I say read, how is it possible to force you to read where as you put it someone is forcing their religion on you, your statement does not make sense why are you here if you do not want to read or hear about it,nobody dragged you here did they?you came of your own free will so then, there is no way anyone could force you to read what you don't want to know about! it's simple if you don't want to read then don't! simple as that, there is no one reading anything to or at you through any loudspeaker! I myself have never and never will force anyone with my religion the truth does not operate like that, if someone were to convert because of pressure or force it would be pointless because that would not be real conversion, a true conversion is by free will, only God who can read what is ion your heart can convert you when you choose to follow him, this is your decision one that no-one will make for you but as already has been said what are you doing here, if you don't want to hear about this tiopic then find another one that suits you and go thereand share your knowledge and understandingthere you would not need to read what is not your cup of tea, no person can decide what you listen to or read, only you make that choice, so please don't blame anyone else for what you read, if you want to read about religion there are many other catagories, there should be at least one there that you may be interested in, why don't you go check up on this, that, may be of interest to youI'm not trying to be rude but I think this would be the only logical thing to do don't you think?

Friend, what makes you think we are forcing our religion on unbelievers, First of all, I don't see anyone pointing gun at a unbeliever, forcing them to do anything, If a question is ask, then we can express our Faith to someone, If that person did not want an answer, they should never have posted it here, Athiests, & agnostics, Unbelievers, Make-believers & Islam are also on this site giving their point of view. So what you are trying to say is christians, join us, To that thinking, My answer is NO way.

Can you please name me a name or two bc I have never forced my beliefs or religion on anyone. Please send me a question where a Christian has forced their belief on someone. You should have backup and proof before posting a question like this. Even in court you need evidence my dear friend. I've been coming to this section for at least 2 months and I haven't seen 1 Christian (force) their religion on anyone.
It's different if we share the love of Christ and answer questions but it is your free will if you accept or not. I would never (force) anyone my beliefs and neither would Jesus Christ.

Religion can not be FORCED upon you. However, if you are in a religious site you are going to hear about GOD and HIS WORD. I hope that you understand that we are here to answer questions at this time. The time will come that questions and answers will cease and HE will Judge each of us. Does that make any sense? ... I hope so. Have a great day!

A Christian's duty is only to share the gospel of Christ. It is the sole duty of the Spirit of God to convict any person of their sin and of their need of Jesus Christ as their Savior. The Holy Spirit is a gentleman Who will not forcefully convict any person to accept Jesus Christ. Only those whose hearts are opened to Jesus Christ will be touched by the Spirit of God. So it is a matter not of convincing the mind but convicting the heart. To say Christians force their religion on others is accusing the Holy Spirit of doing so. No one is truly born-again unless the Holy Spirit helps him to declare the Jesus is Lord (1 Cor 12:3). So no one can be forced to be a Christian because the Holy Spirit will not be a party to it.

I believe the site you are on is called Religion and Spirituality. I would say for starters don't get on a site that is going to have a lot of Christians on it. If you are and announce that you are Atheist, then proceed to tell me how stupid I must be to believe in God, then I suppose I will respond. I promise not to go to the next annual Atheist convention.

I personally don't try to shove my beliefs down anyone's throat, I try to be really sweet and when people ask why I'm being nice I share the gospel of Jesus Christ, also I invite people to my church often but if they don't want to go I drop it

Like any disease, it needs new victims to survive. Look what happened to the Shaker religion.
