as the other replies have said. go in search of the best books you can find. you know your own intelligence so you will know the basics you should begin reading. and take no notice of these bible thumping, self righteous christians. they have yet to find out the difference between the pages of a book and real spirit. good luck.

The best place to start is at the book store. Wicca and witchcraft are largely self-taught.
Don't worry about spending a dime - this shouldn't be a hardship. Lots of bookstores have comfortable seating areas. Start with an Idiot's Guide to Wicca and Witchcraft or the Witchcraft for Dummies version - I know it sounds crazy, but the books are really good and are written from square one, so to speak. After thumbing through those, check out some of the spell books available.
Take a notebook and a pencil for notes. After getting the basics, come back to the computer and look around online. You'll know better then what to look for, and you'll be able to spot a reputable site quickly. Good luck!

I would suggest you read a few books on Wicca and Witchcraft first. Then read several more. If you have already done that then you may want to visit some spiritual shops in your area to see if they know of any circles with an opening or accepting new dedicants. You should also try to figure out what tradition you may want to follow as there are several different ones and not all of them might be to your liking. If there are no shops like those in your area or no circles with openings that are to your liking you might want to visit the link below for more ideas.

I think you should teach it to yourself. You risk being taking down an extremely dangerous path if you allow someone else to guide your thoughts. I've just read a quite interesting book by a guy called Anthony Robbins about mind powers. Read this before you get too involved with the occult world there are alot of nutters involved in these things. Be carefull and I wish you good luck on your journey

i agree with jennifer...grammar is important...u will be kicked out of the coven for messing up spells if u cant spell(heheheh)..ok...yes the craft...its ancient and full of wonder and amazement...u cant be taught the craft cos thats not how it is done...educate yourself first...thats the secret...books written on the craft are all around u..go to bookshops and buy a few and try it out...the only rule is anything u cast out into the universe will come back to u times three(at least) so for now work on love and world peace(God knows we need more of that)..let your journey be slow and gentle...dont be impatient or lose faith easily...enjoy and keep your eyes and heart open to the joys of life...its a way of life the craft...so ,be a good little witch...ok..good.
