Yeah good point i just tried & got stuck on X! Woo! that was far! it's evan hard to wright it backwards i just gave that a shot too!
Maybe im just thick! How far did you get??

Because when would you ever need in every day life to say the alphabet backwards?
We're taught from a young age to count backwards (hide and seek etc) so it comes naturally....

not meaning to boast but i am able to say the alphabet backwards whilst juggling so i dont find it that difficult!
but i think the reason is that people very rarely say the alphabet backwards because they have no need to. however when doing countdowns etc. people need to count backwards so do it more often so it is easier in later life.

Because at school you are taught to count backwards, like a rocket blasting off. We don't really have a need to say the alphabet backwards except to show off to our friends that we can!

actually it's rather easy if you practice it just like counting backwards your just use to doing it!!
practice saying the alphabet backwards several times a day and in a few weeks you'll have it down pat!!

because we practice.
I just sat down one day and said it slowly in my head. Its a fun trick to play when people ask you. My friends always ask drunk people to say the alphabet backwards. If you're truly drunk then you try but can't. Except me :) I spout it out forwards and backwards.

Bcoz numbers follow a certain series...it only has numbers 1-9 repeated with the same numbers added sidelong...But there r 26 alphabets with no certain link....
