Hi,
I'm married and in the beginning of the year my husband and I were seperated, so on my w-4's I put "married filing seperately". Now, we are back together and plan on filing jointly. Will filing jointly cause a problem with my status set to filing seperately ( I had about 3 jobs this year, 2 were temporary.)

No problem at all. Your W-4 just determines how much is withheld from each paycheck, and does not control your filing status when you file your return. Actually, you probably would have had more withheld than if your W-4 had said filing joint, so you might end up with a bigger refund than you would have otherwise.

Good luck, with your taxes and with being back together.

No it wont cause a problem. You may be under or short with your taxes though. Change your W-4 at work to the correct status. Not a big deal though.

File jointly - you will get more money back. Changing your W4 just changes the amount being withheld.

I don't think it will. But you should talk to a CPA, because filling separately may get you more money in the end.
