I'm afraid you have to sit down and have 'the talk' with him about how he is not contributing in a fair way. Men don't ever see that there is housework to be done do they? Tell him how he needs to chip in with the housework and chores everyday, because you are getting tired looking after him. If he doesn't want to then he will be at someone elses house being a lazy person and you will be rid of him. If he doesn't go and he is still lazy you need to tell him that he is not keeping up his end of the bargain and he needs to find another place to live. Sorry but there is no easy way.

Depends how far you want to push the issue and who is going to hold it against you in the family afterwards, as to whether it is worth the effort to remove the leech or not. After you make that decision, then actually doing it shouldn't be that big of a problem. Put him in a motel for 3-4 nights, change the locks on your doors and don't let him back in.
Think beforehand if it will cost you your marriage, and whether it is worth all the consequences, then stand up for your rights and do what you want.

Since you didn't give a lot of details...I'd say BE FIRM!!!!!!
You have to mean what you say!! Don't go to him with a bunch of "I think", Uhmm's and I Feel and all that nonsense.
Be blunt by telling him, this isn't working out and i need you to move out no later than blank date. The time frame definitely shouldn't be more than 30 days!!
Stay firm and brace yourself for pleadings. Within the 30 days you can give him names of shelters if he did desire a roof over his head. No more about the issue needs to be said b/c he will see that you mean business and on the 30th day, change your locks and call of friends to help remove his belongings
it's called Tough Love and some folks need tougher love than others!!
Good luck

That's a tough one, you have to set down some ground rules.
Either he helps around the house or he has X amount of time to move out.
Good Luck.

It depends on the situation. Others had good ideas, but in an extreme, I knew of one case where a bloke called me to discuss the problem with his cousin...
He hung up, went directly up to the flat and told him to pack it up and leave THEN. Cousin complied.

Give him one weeks' notice. After that if he doesn't leave, put his belongings outside your house and lock the room he occupied and keep the keys. He wouldn't be able to come in. He should get the message.

Give him a date that he needs to move out by or you'll have him removed by authorities.
