Sure, there is a lot of baseball players that hit both ways and I have played golf with left handed folks that played right handed. I'm guessing you just have to work at it by doing more with you right hand......

The ink smudges are something that can't be avoided unless you turn the paper at a severe angle.
Don't concern yourself about being left handed. It's perfectly acceptible in this day and age.
At one time children were forced to use their left hand and it made for some very frustrated and confused little folks.
Today there is sports equipment, scissors and all sorts of things designed for left handed people.
Ignore those idiots that resort to name calling and labels. Your true friends like you just the way you are.

Why are you worried ? left handed persons are more sought after in all walks of life. Do not worry. When the brain's Left lob is more active the person become right handed and vice verse. It has nothing to do with your your getting smugged with Ink.
It is also easy to train your right hand. Which means you are trying to develop the left side of your brain also. There are many games which makes a person become expert with both hands. Look at the piano player. he has to use both hands equally well. Mahatma Gandhi was able to write with both hands. Practice. You can do it. Then you will be better than the right handed or left handed because you are "both handed."

My son was left handed when he started school so left handed that I sought out a specialty shop that only sold left handed products so I could buy him scissors so he could cut properly. He was starting school and noticed that the kids were using their other hand and so switched, at first i didn't think it was an issue but I have since learned that it causes laterality problems and he needed to do eye exercises etc to develop one side of his brain so it could be dominant. He would do things right handed but subconsciously his brain wanted him to do it left handed, he had a lot of learning difficulties as a result. A truly ambidextrous person may or may not have these problems but he wasn't, you are not back to front you are you and you should be proud of who you are, you can try to change but from my experience it causes more difficulty than its worth. Seek out a left handed store you'd be amazed at the products available. I had a left handed student teacher who would rub out what she was writing on the whiteboard as she was writing, she found it very frustrating I made her an A4 whiteboard and gave her a whiteboard marker and she practiced so it would no longer be erased or smudged. I know its frustrating but there are pens/ pensilc that wil help.

There is no "cure" for being left handed because that is also the way your brain is wired. Half my family is left handed -- my husband and one son and when I was a child still half my family was left handed, my mother my brother and my sister -- my dad, one brother and myself were right handed. In today's world left handedness is not an affliction as it was believed to be even up to 50 years ago. There are tools made for left handed people and even some schools will accept the use of left handed note books -- Many asian books are not only written top to bottom in lines but from right to left.

Accept it you are left handed, there is nothing wrong with it. My son did train himself to pitch using both arms and was quite good at it, but he still writes left handed. As to ink, use a better quality pen.

You can go old school and if you didnt write with your right hand they smack the crap out of your left hand. But hey it works to some degree! You can always train yourself to adapt, but why write when you can type.
