And how can I make him think otherwise?! I don't want to come off as naive with him or he'll start taking advantage of me.

I think he might mean when it comes to how to treat a man.....cuz we had an incident where he didn't call for a while and I blasted him for it. And I think he's trying to tell me "If you want to keep a man, then you need to maintain the mental challenge and act like you don't care too much" But I'm wondering about your take on what he means....

Well...that's probably his opinion! Is it true?Do you know what a naive person is?If so...just do your best by showing YOURSELF that you are not!Have your own opinion...be picky...show him that he is the one, but if he wasn't there...you sure would have other men interested!Good luck!

If you know what it means to be naive and you believe you are naive, then of course you will have to change if you can. If you cannot, then simply leave him and look for someone even more naive than your good self!

naive means having or showing a lack of experience, judgment, or information

so to be honest with you i think your b/f is like calling you stupid or that you have no experience in the relationship like for sex or kissing or loving or something.......that is just by the definition of the word, i dont know exactly what in the relationship he is talking about for you to be naive

What does he think you do that makes him think that way? Does he think that of you or of all girls in general or has he got a guilty complex?
