ok, so when i was 14 i went to a little party n i got to 2nd base w/ a grl i met that day then i got to 3rd. when my dad picked me up i told him everything that happened and he was like allllriiiight!!! that's my boy!!!!! and he said that my hecky was too big but whatever it felt good when i was receiving it.

when i was 11 i liked this girl and she liked me. we just went out with friends, held hands and thats all. but when she called the house and waited for me at my steps when i would hang out with the guys my mom would flip out.

if i would have told her the things that i have done with and to a girl my age she would probably be sicken and disapointted.
but dad isin't makin a fuss about it. as long as someone doesn't get stds or pregnant then he's cool about it.

there are some things you tell your mom and some you don't. it's not a matter of who's right or wrong, just a judgement call. your dad's tellin you the right things about being safe, though.

Tech they are both right and both wrong.

Your dad is your dad so he looks at his son in a different way then your mother.

When your in your 20's or 30's your dad telling you that "alllriiight" when you do something with a girl is kind of ok. Not when you are 14 or 11.

You mom looks at you like her little boy no matter how old you are. So when you tell her about a girl that likes you that what she sees is her little boy and some 'girl' messing with him.

Be Patience it will pass. You will grow up and mostly will stop telling your parents what you are doing with girls.

I'm on your moms side, parents should never encourage thier kids to be sexually active for no reason!!
If you realllly like a girl, that's fine, but for your dad to be proud of you for going to 3rd base while you were only 14 is just sick.
We're not animals & parents should teach thier children right from wrong. Now, a hecky, later STD! ..

A lot of fathers are that way but only with their sons. If it were his daughter he would have flipped out! My son is only three and my husband already talks about how he's going to have all the girls after him and how he's a little pimp. I on the other hand am like i don't think so! Were having a baby girl in April and he already talks about how she isn't allowed to date, the poor thing it's even born yet. I guess it's natural for men to be that way with their son's and mothers to be totally against it. Of course i think your father is wrong but that may be because i am a mother my self...LOL. Were only human.

Dad's are always proud of their boys when they get some, it's like they can't wait for there boys to lose their virginity but if it was there daughter it would be a different story.
Mother's worry about the consequences and also like to know who there kids are dating. They often worry about there sons being trapped by girls who are desperate for a baby. Believe me it happens!! Tenage boys can be foolish!! My uncle was a father at 14.

Men and women are different and that also applies to parents too. I would say your mom is right but that is because I am a girl. Follow your gut not the crowd. It is good you can be honest to your dad. Think about it, if he got mad at you, you wouldn't tell him anything anymore. He is keeping the lines of communication open at any cost.

I would say pretty much they are both right.. I think they are reacting in a picturesque way.. and if you were a girl it would be the other way around.

The positive point is that you have a good relationship with your parents and you can talk openly with your dad.

if you feel comfortable talking to your dad about this kind of stuff than that is good, cause when a situation does arrive that you arent sure of he is going to be there for you because he trusts you to always tell him the truth. most fathers want that kind of a bond with their sons. a little piece of advice though, if you are doing things remember to always use protection, not just to protect from pregnancy but from STDs as well, like you said he's cool with it, but i am sure he wants you to be as safe as possible.
keep that father/son relationship as strong as possible, not everyone is that lucky.

Way to go MOM! Your dad has some growing up to do. Any man/father in their right mind would not tolerate this kind of mess.
