industries are showing very impact on our enviroment. there are the some effects industries showing on our enviroment.
for establishment of indsturies we are destroying the forests these leading to de foresting.

this de foresting creating pollution problem, cos trees or the plants are the main consumers of the carbon di oxide which has been producing by the vehicles.

due to deforestation we are losing valuable biological species and we are losing some species of animials.

industries are creating global warming. which is increasing the global tempreature of our earth. due to this the ice at polar points is melting and incresing the sea levels. this will lead to the drowning of the cosatal cities.

another big problem of the industrialisation is water polution. the waste materials of the industries going in to rivers and seas. and it is polluting the water sourses.

hence we should take some precaution steps to prevent our environment for m the industries.

This is a big, general question so I will try to give a basic summary of the different ways industries can impact the environment:

* Pollution from manufacturing. Manufacturing plants emit pollution into the environment.
* Indirect pollution from energy use. Whenever anyone uses energy, if pollution was generated when the electricity was generated, the energy use indirectly causes pollution.
* Indirect pollution from product material use. When anyone uses any materials or products, you need to factor in pollution that was generated when those products were manufactured. For example, the act of buying a car doesn't pollute, but manufacturing the car pollutes (it uses a lot of energy for one), so you need to factor this in.

There are different types of pollution. Some basic ones:
* Greenhouse gases, contributing to global warming.
* Acidic gases (SO2, Nitrogen Oxides) contributing to acid rain.
* Trace Organic chemicals (think like DDT or Benzene) which are often carcinogenic or toxic to life forms. These are often a problem because they get into the groundwater.
* Heat pollution: for instance, nuclear plants heat up the water in a river they are in; this can destroy the native ecosystem.
* Nutrient pollution. Although soil nutrients are usually good, too much of them in the wrong place can be bad. When commercial agriculture sprays fertilizer on the fields, a lot of it runs off into rivers, lakes, and estuaries, where it can destroy ecosystems.

Another way industry can impact the environment is through destruction of habitat. This is especially true of commercial argiculture, because they clear lots of forest to grow things. This is a worse problem in tropical countries like Brazil, because Rainforest doesn't grow back the same way temperate forests do.

Industry can have positive impacts on the environment too. For example:

* Shade grown coffee is grown under a rainforest canopy. Thus, a shade-grown coffee plantation can help preserve a rainforest-like habitat, helping native plants and animals survive.
* Eco-tourism is an industry that generates lots of money from healthy ecosystems. It can help protect the ecosystems by giving a financial incentive for them to be preserved and restored.
* Many industries help the environment by alleviating ways that other industries harm the environment. For example, public transportation and passenger rail uses less energy than people driving individually in cars. Or, energy-efficient light-bulbs can reduce electricity usage.

I hope this helps.

there are lots of industries and there types.
maximumly those are chemical, paint, agrochemicals, dyes, pharmaceuticals, sugar industries, paper industries, metal industries make the environment pollutent very badly.
1) all the pesticide ,fertilizer ,agrochemicals etc industries leaves there etp effluent in the river or sea, thats why water become contaminated and polluted. this effluent contains various types of hazzardous organo chemical groups ie cl,br, hg,sulfides, that are carcogenics and also posionus. remeber the tragedy of bhopa gas likage.
2)paint industries also same problems mentioned above. that is very toxic to environment that could harmful to biodiversity.
3)industries that can not control on there smoke due to that co2 level in the environment raises and o2 level decreses. due to this asthama problems, various nozzale problems occurs. and also that smoke spreads on the leaves of plants, agricultural crops, horticultural crops, that causes low productivity.

well, industries are one of the major causes of pollution in every environment because most of them burn fossils and other chemicals for their products, then these burnt chemicals & fossils produce both dangerous and non-dangerous gases (even liquids) which contaminate both the air in the atmosphere and water in reseviours such as the thames river. all this leads to less fresh breathing air and health water for drinking and in the end, the death rate increases (obviously from the diseases caused by the above process). by the way there are different types of pollutions but in this case only two are caused;air pollution and noise pollution (industries always make noise) and lastly contamination of water.

there are so many effect but i think u are askin those effect which concern Human!....The major effect is Global warming due to depilation of Ozone layer cause by air pollution. other are like, due to improper treatment of waste material of industries we are facing water poisoning, excess of water wastage due to improper recycling of waste water( in our country it cost much money to recycle waste water).producing lots of un degradable garbage which i think is much more harmful for mankind..
