God created you and me .
He lives in heart of any one who believers in Him .

Please read this too.

He was just a little boy on the week's first day.
He was wandering home from Sunday School, and dawdling on the way.

He scuffed his shoes into the grass; he found a caterpillar.
He found a fluffy milkweed pod, and blew out all the "filler."

A bird's nest in a tree overhead, so wisely placed on high.
Was just another wonder that caught his eager eye.

A neighbor watched his zig zag course, and hailed him from the lawn;
Asked him where he'd been that day and what was going on.

"I've been to Bible School," he said and turned a piece of sod.
He picked up a wiggly worm replying, "I've learned a lot of God."

"M'm very fine way," the neighbor said, "for a boy to spend his time."
"If you'll tell me where God is, I'll give you a brand new dime."

Quick as a flash the answer came! Nor was his accents faint.

"I'll give you a dollar, Mister, if you can tell me where God ain't."

God is a spirit being that is the uncreated creator of all that there is. He is all knowing - meaning that he knows your thougts before you even think them. He is in control of all things at all times, even what we consider evil. Because what we see as evil is often times meant for our own good. Good is never changing or is immutible. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. God exists and will always exist, he is the almight, all powerful God.

To say where God is would be to limit God and he really has no limitations. God is everywhere at all times.

His Spirit lives inside all who believe in His Son Jesus Christ.

There is a Heaven or a place prepared for all who believe and God is there too. All believers will one day be in the presence of God upon there eminent death here.

I won't go much further than this. Hope this answers your question.

Matt

God is the Almighty Allah (subhanhuwata'ala). He is the Oneness that rules the world and it is a must for us to worship Him. We muslims don't know where he live because He is God Himself. We, his creations, could not think or even try to resemble, where he lives. But the Holy Quran stated that Allah sits (the term sit for Allah isn't the same action as His creation sits. It is beyond our thinking on how he sits or lives to show his superiority that he is the God) at His Arasy ('A-raash). This shows the superiority of Allah Himself.

Unlike other religion that idolize god, with many forms, characteristics, and looks, it is unlikely, that god would show his face on the face of the earth just like that. Prophet Jesus is Allah's messenger to show that Islam is the right religion. Think about it, if you are the god yourself, do you show your superiority, by showing your face, and let other people hurt you by crucifixing you? The answer would be would be not. do you think that sleeping buddha sleeps always, showing his laziness? Think about it. slam is the right religion. Read the Holy Quran.

GOD is fittingly described as omnipotent and omniscient—almighty and all-knowing. Yet, when attempting further to describe God’s greatness, some add a third term—omnipresent. They believe that God is present everywhere simultaneously.

While none of these descriptive terms are found in the Bible, the first two are clearly supported by Scriptural teachings. (Genesis 17:1; Hebrews 4:13; Revelation 11:17) God is indeed omnipotent, and he is omniscient in the sense that nothing can be hidden from him. But is he omnipresent? Is God everywhere, or is he a person with a specific dwelling place?

Where Is God?In several Bible verses, “the heavens” are mentioned as God’s “established place of dwelling.” (1 Kings 8:39, 43, 49; 2 Chronicles 6:33, 39) However, one Bible account describes the magnitude of Jehovah God with the following terms: “Will God truly dwell with mankind upon the earth? Look! Heaven, yes, the heaven of the heavens themselves, cannot contain you.”—2 Chronicles 6:18.

“God is a Spirit,” says the Bible. (John 4:24) Therefore, he resides in a spiritual realm independent of the physical universe. When the Bible refers to “the heavens” as God’s dwelling place, it is referring to the loftiness of the place where he resides in contrast with the material environment in which we reside. In any event, the Bible teaches that God’s abode is, indeed, clearly distinguished from the physical universe but is at the same time a very specific location.—Job 2:1-2.

God Is a PersonJesus spoke about Jehovah’s dwelling place when he said to his disciples: “In the house of my father there are many abodes. . . . I am going my way to prepare a place for you.” (John 14:2) Where did Jesus go? Eventually, he “entered . . . into heaven itself, now to appear before the person of God for us.” (Hebrews 9:24) This account teaches us two important facts about Jehovah God. First, he has a literal place of dwelling, and second, he is a person, not simply an indefinable force that resides everywhere.

That is why Jesus taught his followers to pray this way: “Our Father in the heavens,” directing their prayers to a person, Jehovah, who is in a place, namely, the spiritual heavens. (Matthew 6:9; 12:50) This teaching was consistent with the way God’s people had been taught to pray for more than 1,500 years. The oldest writings inspired by God contain the following prayer: “Do look down from your holy dwelling, the heavens, and bless your people.”—Deuteronomy 26:15.
