Sorry but that article is dated 1994. Why haven't they dug it out yet? Why no more news about it? Would like to believe it but you'll have to do better.

To Wonder Weirdo- You say there is evidence that there was no flood, yet archeology has discovered flood layers from North of Babylon to the Mediterranean Sea. Water laid mud 8 foot thick, with layers of civilization below it and above it. See University of Pennsylvania. The flood only had to cover the Known world of the time to be factual, and at that time the known world would be pretty much centered in the Iraq, Syria region of the world.

Its just like Islamists to try and claim for themselves the Noahs Ark Story and the discovery of the ark! If you look at the references from the Koran you only see vague references to the ark and Noah. The bible however tells the whole story...in detail...including the exact measurements of the ark.

This is the story of Noah according to chapters 5–9 of the book of Genesis.

Noah was the son of Lamech, and the tenth generation after Adam. "And [Lamech] called his name Noah, saying, "Out of the ground which the Lord has cursed this one shall bring us relief from our work and from the toil of our hands." From Noah's sons, Shem, Japheth and Ham, all the peoples of the world would be descended.[1]

When Noah was six hundred years old, God decided to send a great flood to destroy all life, for He was angered at the wickedness of humankind. But He saw that Noah was a righteous man, and warned him to build a vessel for himself and his family, "And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female."[2] And so the Flood came, and all life was extinguished, except for those who were with Noah, "and the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days."[3] "But God remembered Noah," the waters receded, and the Ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.

Noah's first burnt offering after the Flood - relief in Holy Trinity Column in Olomouc. There Noah built an altar to God (the first altar mentioned in the Bible) and made an offering. "And when the Lord smelled the pleasing odour, the Lord said in his heart, 'I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I ever again destroy every living creature as I have done. While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease'."[4]

It's actually true, and it is true. No doubt about it. Check it out yourself. Those nonbelievers still trying to cover up people's faith by bringing lies about Islam and claiming that the Holy Quran is a hoax. Jesus is a prophet, but a god? It gets even worse. Rewriting religious law is definitely their work today to fulfill their greed. Allah had shown a lot of signs that the Quran is the right guide, but atheist, christian, jewish, satanist, directly deni the Holy Quran.

Just like other answers, they think it is all a lie. They don't want to listen. But when it comes to the boy with resemblence of buddha, they quickly believe it. actually, Allah asked us to think especially about historical events written in the Quran. Well, you know that the western made a lot of lies in the media, most true stories about Islam is covered up by them, then claiming Islam is a terrorist religion. Well, prove me that the bible is the right guide.

In Leviticus, chapter 11, tells christian not to eat pork and not even touch them because it is not clean. But.... a lot of christian eat pork, breaking their religious rules, laws, ethiques. Now you call that a true religion. Why don't other people try to read the Holy Quran? It's the right guide for life. Unlike Bible, they have many editions, such as Luke, Mary, etc. And each of them tells a different story. Most of them are twisted truth. Now you people call Christianity is a right religion.

[006:025] And of them there are some who listen to you; but We have set veils on their hearts, so they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; and even if they see every one of the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) they will not believe therein; to the point that when they come to you to argue with you, the disbelievers say: "These are nothing but tales of the men of old."

We believe without seeing the ark, God has guided us to the straight path, for whom God sends astray, none can guide him.

Peace be with you

Who cares. In reality we have more than enough evidence to prove that the great flood never happened. The story about any particularly large boat, washed very far inland in a massive flood was incorporated to justify the quran. It proves nothing.
