Navy Basic Training almost feels like yesterday for me so I think I can help you out a little ...
As far as being divided into groups based upon your PT at basic ... NO, they do not place you into your division based on your PT performance. You division is just that ... YOUR DIVISION. You will all work together. You division will begin with 88 people and you will have a "brother division" that will also start out with 88 people.
In your division, you will all work together at PT and in classes. Usually there will be alternating days of PT and instruction. When you are in PT, all divisions that are apart of your graduating class (usually about 10 divisions) will be in the gym together but you'll train with your division and your brother division. You will march to PT with your division and work out with them. Naturally, when running the slower runners will fall behind, but your RDCs (Recruit Division Commanders -- the Navy's drill's instructors) and the PT coordinators will be there to motivate you.
The only special group that is made in boot camp is for those people who cannot swim. Usually those that aren't able to pass the initial swim test will be sent to additional swim classes while the rest of the division is getting instruction on something else.
Hope that helps!

For muscular strength and endurance sessions, you won't be divided. Typically the only time that you will be put into groups is for runs. Normally there will be 4 groups (A, B, C, and D - with A group being the fastest).
The only other time you may be divided is if you are on profile (you're hurt in some way or another).

No. Its extra like college the place each and every of the in between artwork does not incredibly matter huge type (as long as you are trying because of the fact they're going to yell at you) yet finally you don't get marked down to your progression for the period of daily PT till you're taking you PT attempt on the top of BMT.

Generally no, but those who don't meet standards will have remedial PT in order to bring them up to minimum standards.
