Meet her first. You will know right away if you are right about her. If so, propose the first time you meet her. Why not? You already know her. You just need to see if you have that chemistry. My husband, whom I met on Match.com, said he would have proposed to me on our first date (which lasted 27 hours), if he had not been afraid of scaring me off. We met last Feb. 4, got married July 6, and are VERY happy! Now, that's not to say we haven't had issues and problems, like every human relationship, but we are a perfect pair. Best wishes to you, and I am sorry that there are so many haters out there that give you crazy answers. :)

Well if you propose and she seems far away, look at all the money you may lose. I have had problems with some of these women online. Most of them want to marry you within a couple of emails and then ask for money. I like the ones from Nigeria cuz most of them are guys posing as women. The Russian ones want money for airfare to visit you, but the can not get it so you lose your money. The others if they ask for money are usually scammers. Anyway, Search for Scammers and you can get sites to see if your girl is in one of them. You did not say where she was from. I am curious how long have you known her and where is she from. But the best bet is do not send money and meet her first.

lol, wait until you meet her offline "some day". If you are serious and not just joking around, I suggest waiting until you meet her, but not the first day you meet her! And then planning out something romantic or memorable like a horse-drawn carriage ride or a dinner...
how tacky would it be for you to type to your gf, "will you marry me", having never met her or anything, lol.

You're joking right ? If not joking. . . I'll answer this way . . . SPAM BLOCKING on the guy would occur. If any guy proposed marriage to me via the internet. . . he'd have alot of explaining and making up to do...and also have to wait alot longer for my hand in marriage if he dared ask again.
When I'm proposed to (again) one day...it had be better be with my guy and me looking lovingly eye to eye. To take that warm moment away via the internet . . . foolish.

ok first of all you might want to meet her in person before you go getting married by that online chat room preacher... Second of all do yourself a favor and dont get married.. everything changes after the vows are said.. her mother turns into a raging ***** where she used to be sweet, then she slowly starts turning herself.. PROMOTE LIFE SLEEP WITH MANY

if you love her, tell her you love her. and if she loves you, then go ahead and propose to her. i met my husband online and we got married 1 month after we met. we have been married 4 years and are very happy. sometimes, fate gives you a gift and it is up to you to accept it or not. life is too short and when happiness knocks at your door, you answer it and embrace it with all your heart.
