Yes it is ,but once u do u feel so goooooood. There is no higher comand that To Love. Love EVERYONE as u love urself .
1 Corinthians 13 ,1-13"If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, BUT HAVE NOT LOVE, I AM NOTHING . If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, BUT HAVE NOT LOVE, I GAIN NOTHING .Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

God donts love proud people . He loves humble people .

No... I think the hardest teaching is to "leave everything and follow me". Turning the other cheek is just a 90 degree shift, but leaving everything and following Christ is a 180 degree shift.

Every person has a right to self- defence. Jesus was merely saying that we should be ready to forgive. In the Gospel Jesus was struck by the servant of the High priest .Notice He did not offer the other cheek ; He protested.

No. there are harder tests like when abraham was asked to sacrifice his son isaac whom he loved a lot. Sometime we may give the other cheek, but not the cheek of, let us say, you sweet little daughter or son.

Yes forgiveness is the hardest. That and not judging others.

It's much easier to find verses in the Bible to justify hate and judgement and preach those.

In my path, we are taught that you can't truly forgive someone unless you have your foot on their throat, and that turning the other cheek is what you do when you have no means of retaliation. Therefore if someone strikes me, it's acceptable for me to beat him until he's unrecognizable.

Anyone who wrongs you, just forgive them. It will increase your faith and make you a better person. Nothing is hard, its just the effort or the will required to do so. Be the bigger person so to speak.
