My advice would be to try it just once.
worst case is you have some funny stories to tell your friends after. Best case is you get a few phone numbers...

The main reason I believe it is a waste of time is because those people there are actually looking for love. I don't think that's a smart idea. In many cases, when someone is searching for love, they will settle for someone that isn't quite right for them and could turn into a disaster. You need to just let love happen. It usually comes unexpectedly. Speed dating could work in some cases though I suppose.

Speed dating what is speed dating. Their are just one dating. And that is SLOW dating. Go slow. Going fast is just wasting your years. And no speed dating does not actually work it just ends up in hard feels. And hurt your love ones and you.

I think it works. You can meet a lot more "psycho hose-bags" faster with speed dating.
Seriously, I went once and it was a complete waste of time. All I got out of it were stories of crazy women.

Mostly a waste of time and money...would be better of to find a good dating site or just meet people at your local singles bar for free.

It depends on what you want out of a relationship.....Our society is point and click now, same with some dating. I'm old fashioned and have no interest in that. I heard my buddies off in the city do that kind of thing, but they arent' hitched yet, so maybe face to face is better.
