I never knew my mother's parents because they died when she was very young. I am getting to know them through research and asking a lot of questions.
My dad's parents I spent a lot of time with until my late teens when they both passed away. There was always plenty of food, butter rum lifesavers, crackerjacks, ice tea, homemade chex mix etc in that house. But lots of love especially from my Baba (grandfather) he died shortly after my grandmother. Everyone, including the neighbors say he died of a broken heart. Truth is he had cancer all over but was so concerned about my Nana he never said a word or complained about any pain. I miss him to this very day. He and my dad are together now with my Nana. They are gonna have to wait for mom for a very long time. So, yes I know them even though they have passed away I think about all 4 everyday. I know them because they have influenced my life even the ones who I never met. My favorite thing about my Baba was his love for everyone and anyone, unconditional love. Plus his great sense of humor

yes i have met all 4 but don't remember one because he died 2 weeks after i was born he was sick with cancer and the doctors told my mom he fought to stay alive till i was born so that is one of my favorite stories about him because he really wanted my mom to have a girl because he always wanted a daughter and only had 5 sons so he was happy when i was born and was a girl.

my favorite memory of my grandma is this time when my mom was taking my brother's side after he was being a little jerk to me and my cousins so we told him to go away and leave us alone. my mom bitched at me for not sticking up for him even though all my cousins were telling her what a little jerk he was being. she told me off in front of everyone and the only person to stick up for me of all the adults was my grandma (her mom) which is something my parents never did, they always take my brother's side.

Not on my dad's side, but yes on my mom's. What I liked best was both their heritage, and their manner. Also, my grandmother was THE best cook in THE WORLD. Sorry everyone!
