Jogging is very bad for the knees. Cycling is much better.

It all depends on 'you' factor. Jogging for some and cycling for some, thats the equation goes!! Its the mind not the body!!

Honestly, neither, the best way to shape up and slim down is to eat less.....know that is not the answer you were looking for but you would have to jogg or cycle all day, I mean like 24 hrs. to lose a single pound, keeping your mouth shut w/regard t food is the old tried and true way...I have been there and done that, it is the only way.....a thinner body will get on auto-pilot and shape up just by day to day life after you stop the intake of excess calories...good luck.

Cycling is less jarring.. but harder to get up hills.
And jogging up hills works out your butt better.

better for your body or better for calorie burning. Cycling is better for your body and jogging is better for calorie burning. So, do the best of both worlds and use an ellyptical cross-trainer and it will be good for your body and for calorie burning.

walking is really about the best exercise you can do all the way around. I prefer cycling though. I lot to see things and move on.
oh yeah. swimming is the best in all categories when and if available though
