How many days/weeks do you have to be smoke free before you can actually say you quit. I'm on the patch does that count as quitting. Ive read all the adds that tell you how your body begins to heal itsself

The patch gets rid of the physical habbit, but not the nicotine addiction. I think it would vary though - some people have been off all nicotine for years but still crave it. Others don't miss it much after the first few months.

i have been cigarette free for 10 months now but still feel like a cigarette daily ..I think on the patches is still considered quitting and you hang in there cause you have an addiction that you will have to keep a watch on for the rest of your life but it does certainly get easier
