After launching version 9.0 Redhat decided to split there popular Linux distro into two parts.

1) RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) - Mostly Stable and meant for Enterprise Solutions with official support from Redhat.
Current Latest: RHEL v4.0 (http://www.redhat.com/rhel/details/)

2) Fedora Core - meant for Linux enthusiasts
Current Latest: Fedora Core 6 (http://fedora.redhat.com)

RedHat Linux is on 9 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux, formerly Fedora Core is on 5

The latest version of linux redhat has been released as RHEL-7.2 in the date of 2015-11-19.
