The way it works for me is skipping lunches from time to time (never skip breakfast), and jog. The longer I jog, the fitter I get. Have you ever saw a fat marathon runner?

to lose weight the first thing you need is will power.

if you have that then you are already half way there !

rule no 1 is DO NOT DIET - no matter what the books and celebrities say, diets are not right way to lose weight, as you will put the weight back when you stop the dieting.

rule no 2 the only way to loose and maintain weight is : healthy food and lots of exercise.

drink atleast 8 - 10 glasses of water everyday.

eat healthy foods. try going vegetarian as veggy foods are less fatty (except oils and cheese of course)

eat green leafy vegetables regularly salads

cut down on your alcohol and fatty food such as oily fried foods, cholocates and whatever that is high on fat.

go for the healthy option - brown bread instead of white, bran flakes instead of sugary breakfast, fruit instead of snacks crisps between meals

eat more 'filling foods' so you dont keep feeling hungry - such as bran, bananas etc.

do 30 minutes exercise atleast 3 days in a week - everyday if possible. you dont have to join to gym or something if you dont want to. brisk walking / jogging / swimming for 30 minutes will be good enough.

if you continue above then you will see the difference in 2 months

All the best.......

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

Start by changing the way you look at food. Look at food as a way to fuel your activities for the day instead of a way to fill your stomach. Give up a few bad things at a time, like no dessert, or no chips, etc.... Then get into a good workout routine. You can learn a lot from www.johnstonefitness.com Start by walking if you are obese, then jogging. If you are severely obese, start with the bike, then move up to a harder exercise. You can start with twenty minutes a day, then move up to where you are at 60 minutes a day. Take it off slow and it will stay gone.

around the time i was serious about weightlifting,i was just sticking to vegetables, would eat about 1-3 meals of vegetables a day from whatever i had available,it was mostly salads, drank allot of water, lifted weights and exercised for about 1 hour a day during my school, and i was either walking or running another 3hr a day to get to the mall and where ever else i was going, but that's only cause i didn't have a car,and lost about a good 60lbs in about 8 months, which i think is pretty good, cause your supposed to average about 1-2 pounds per week,so the average would be about 32-64lbs during the time period i lost my weight in,so i was pretty much fulfilling my goal in a safe way,no supplements what so ever.

i think as long as your active each day,and eat only healthy stuff, you will definitely achieve your goal, but never deprive yourself from food or water, and you will be losing it in no time.you don't have to weight lift but i do think it helps, just as long as your active then it's good.

i don't believe in that pumping my self with diet pills, and hitting the weights hard everyday routine, that only seems necessary when you have a strict time limit, such as if you were a professional body builder or a sports player or something, other than that its not really needed to do it unsafely in a short amount of time i felt sick allot when i used to do it before..until went to a better routine to maintain my weight.

all from personal experience

Don't diet!Just eat small meals during the day.
Consult your doctor 1st before starting any program.Exercise regularly.Start from your level. If you are a beginner do simple aerobics such as walking 20-30 min 2-3x a wk.Then
slowly increase your time to 10 min more, until you can exercise 4-5x weekly for longer period and/or with more intensity.

Regular exercise,

I cycle, during the summer, and do a little fencing - and in winter swim at the local pool. I am not thin, by European standards, but at 42, I am a lot fitter than most and still have a waist, if only I could kick the real ale - unfortunately the pub is on my cycle route lol.

you're youthful sufficient that your epidermis could nevertheless be somewhat elastic. you have gotten some unfastened epidermis for a whilst yet as long as you lose at a secure value you're able to no longer choose surgical operation or something. it would merely take a quick time on your epidermis to tighten up. a great number of the horror thoughts you spot are from human beings over two times your age. epidermis gets thinner and droopier with age.
