It's important that you target healthy goals with healthy food.
Start eating like a person that wants to be healthy, not anorexic and not obese. Eat proteins (chicken, turkey, game, dairy, fish), complex carbs and low fat, plenty of veggies. Just eat MORE of these things rather than eating unhealthy stuff. It takes discipline but it can be done :)
When you feel better, start doing weights. You can put up muscle rather than fat, and become a healthy LEAN person.
Once you have put on muscle in a healthy way and you are used at that food, reduce the portions to a normal size and start doing karate or pilates or any sport you prefer.

Well, healthy can mean a lot of things in your case. First, if you eat a healthy balanced dinner around seven everyday, you shouold gain some weight. A healthy dinner that's balanced is like meat, some vegetable such as potatoes, buttered bread, a good drink that's clearly not diet, um maybe a sugar cookie for dessert? Speghetti is healthy and fattening (not in a bad way) Fish, veggies, and a couple of sweets every now and then. If you do this EVERY day, you should gain about 2-2 1/2 pounds in one week, depending on how much pasta and meat (which would be the best choice for you right now) you eat. I really hope you recover. All I want to say is bread is very good for this, and you should have six to eleven servings of it every day. So that's a good choice.
Yes you can still work out, maybe just not on your stomach work on your arms legs bottom stuff like that.

It all depends on how your metabolism works . So i cant predict how much weigh you will gain in a determined time. Take it easy, start with the food you like best. Then the ones that metabolize slow. You can eat all the healthy food you want. Concentrate on proteins. Don't stuff yourself so that you don't repel food again Do it at you own pace. you are young, and karate class wont go away.

I am an anorexic too and have been for years. Sometimes you have to increase your calorie intake very high until your body excepts the fact it's not going to be in the starve mode. The best place to start though is by seeing a qualified nutritionist. you are young and it's much better you start handling your situation now before other long term problems manifest that may never go away. There is a very good online support group online that I am in that is very helpful. Don't do it alone either way:)

Meat and potatoes. They are things you wouldn't normally eat, but they will help with putting on healthy weight. The potatoes break into sugar and are good to give you long lasting energy, and the meat really helps with gaining weight slowly. Good luck. Its a hard cycle to get out of, but you can do it!

Infact, most anorexic/bulemic patients are your age so you are not that young. Start eating breakfast.
