im 16 and ive always had problems with guys at school, either theyre not attracted to me, or im not attracted to them, or i just find them very immature, so, obviously, i rarely date anyone my age....but, what ive come to find is that its completely different with older guys, they are the ones i always go out with. idk y there is such a difference, though. ppl tell me that i dont act my age, and that i act older, and i thought that that might have something to do with it, but i wasnt sure. i think this is very interesting, cuz the age difference is only a couple of years, and yet, i only like older guys. does anyone have any ideas y this is?

Honestly ma, I think it has less to do with women, and more to do with guys. Guys, overall (most of us, please dont take offense if it ain't you) are very immature. So, it isn't necessarily an insult to younger women, but what woman wants an immature s/o? Maybe as friends, but not in a relationship. And obviously, the younger you are (guys), the more immature you are. And on the other side, I think older guys date younger girls because there is that feeling of "showing them things" they may not be used to/introduced to yet (as opposed to older women who probably are) whether it be money, sex, travelling, going out (its harder for two underage people to get alcohol than for one minor and one adult). Look it at it from a man's perspective...
When men are young, they have nothing to offer. No money, no power, no life experience. So they are ignored by Girls across the board...
When we get older, we get better. Men age very well. As men get older, the younger, more beautiful, more attractive girls get interested in us. That's why old women hate to see young girls with older men... But there is an easy solution. here it is...
Young women belong with older guys... we both get what we want. Men get a hottie that's great in the sack and women get a smart, handsome, intelligent well to do man, who can take care of them.
For the younger men, take the old hags off our back.. they can teach you about sex, and you will make old women think they still got "it". Then just wait it out until you are older and fetch yourself a young beauty...

i know exactly what you mean! sometimes i just get fed up with guys my age because they don't understand me and don't take the first move. Older guys usually have more experience or are more mature, so they know when a girl likes them and they know exactly how to act. It's just nice to have a guy who knows what he's doing!
And you already know why this is....it's because things work out with older guys who know how to act around you :)

It's because you're 16. 16 year old guys are usually still in their incredibly immature stage. They usually start growing up at around 18 or even older.
Guys mature slower than girls do, it's a scientific fact.

Even though you are only 16 you might have matured faster than your male counterparts.
It has been proven that girls mature faster than boys.
Be careful with these older guys, some of them may try to take advantage of you.

You are attracted to the older ones because they are grown up, mature and perhaps has direction in his life and that's an attractive trait.

It sounds such as you may discover somebody else to this factor. If he's not waiting to stay an out-and-proud existence and you're, there is going to be some friction. i think of the guy who needs to "handle it" is your BF. IMHO too many LGBT human beings positioned WAAAAAAAAAY too lots power into attempting to "slot in" and "be commonplace." quicker or later, the lies get closer you. And if I have been informed I had to be section and parcel of that lie i might say "no, thank you." being waiting to settle for and love one's self is the 1st step to being waiting to coach that love and attractiveness OUTWARD and embody others' like-minded spirits in the international. Your BF for sure has self-appreciate and dignity subject concerns. And except he "deals with it," you will continuously be 2nd-play around to his insecurities. truly. discover somebody else worth your love.
