Hypothetically, in that if this ever happened it would be years in the future, but if it did happen, what sort of things should I expect? For the marriage and events surrounding it, that is. I'm totally accepting of her religion, and she's totally accepting of mine, the only people who may protest are certain members of eachothers' families. I'm not really knowledgeable about all of the customary details and all a Hindu marriage entails. Do any Hindus or experts on that religion have any information I might find useful?
BTW: I'm actually a Unitarian Universalist and only vaguely Christian, so I'm not hard-set on getting married in a Christian church or by a Christian pastor, or dressing in the traditional attire. I'd be totally happy getting married in the Hindu style, if thats' allowed.
Also, PLEASE, no mean-spirited comments.
