No....it doesn't sound normal. It's actually a good sign of diabetes. However, you are very young and thin. Are you also active? Most people have 3 meals a day and a snack or two during the day. If you're eating more than this I'd be concerned.....Well, perhaps you have a very fast metabolism.
I personally think you should bring this issue up with your DR. As for filling full for longer periods.... carry small munchies will you and snack when you get hungry. Carrot sticks, etc....
Remember that you won't be young forever... Whatever habits you form now will have an effect on your health 20 years from now. If there is a history of diabetes in your family....leave the sugar alone and go low carb on everything. And if you do do that, you can eat to your heart's content.

Well first of all depends on what you eat, and how active you are. Some foods fill you up temporarily like rice and generally starchy stuff, while other foods keep you full longer. For a while if you start eating less, then your stomach will get use to it and you won’t get hungry so fast. But at least you have a fast metabolism so I guess your okay.

When you're hungry outside of meal times, drink a glass of water. It will help give you a sense of fullness. Make it a goal to drink the standard 8-10 glasses of water per day, and I'll bet you'll see a difference.
Also, you could have a small, healthy snack between your main meals, such as carrot sticks, low fat yogurt, nuts, or a piece of fruit.

Sounds like you have a high metabolism. You must burn a lot of calories. Id say yes this is normal for you. Just eat until you feel full. Then when you are hungry again Just eat again. You can drink allot of water in between.

I donot know what will make you fuller for longer, but chewing gum would help because it has calories and when you chew your brain thinks that you are eating! Gluclose tablets, sold in the pharmacy also work great for hunger pagns! You do not have to be a diabetic to take them, all gluclose is is sugar

Fiber! Fruits like apples, oranges, whole grains and nutty breads, vegetables. Also, fats - but make them good fats! Bread dipped in olive oil, canned salmon, almonds and other nuts.
You could search gastroparesis and look at the diet restrictions - then do the exact opposite. That'd do ya (honestly - they're all things that are nixed for gastroparetics because they keep you full!)
Good luck, and lucky you!

I get the same kind of problem too. So when I get hungry, I just drink lots of water....not sure if that's a good idea though. (But it works for me)
