Fantastic question, and I applaud your interest in doing something to really help our friends from Ethiopia. You know? I asked myself the same thing when I saw that NGO's in the country were I live were being used for enriching the politician's bank accounts.

For detailed information, I can send it to you via E-mail. We have already began to work in Nigeria,Africa, and we are hoping to reach Ethiopia by mid 2007.
No matter what happens, DON'T GIVE UP!. Keep your eyes focused on your goals, and stick to it as much as possible. There are many websites where you can get very good advise for running your NGO.
