About 3 weeks ago I got an itch in my pubic area, I put some lotion on it for about 3 days and then it went away. About 2 days later I started getting an itch all over my body. In some spots I'd get a mosquito-bite-looking bump after scraching it. I got one on my leg, a side of my torso and the bottom part of the stomach. Then they'd stop itching but stay for about 5-6 more days. It started when i was taking antibiotic since I got sick and I thought it was the reason but I havent taken those for a while and this itch just won't go away. I eat the same stuff as I used to and live in the same environment, work at the same place. Nothing new in other words. Why do I have this skin condition?

I travel a lot and when up north where space heaters are required, I get the itch after approx. 1 week. Legs and butt mostly.
I tryed everything but finely after years found out that it was from dry skin. And shows up in dry envoroments. If thats your problem, use lots of skin lotion.

I went wading in a shallow lake a couple of days ago and ended up get the same symtoms - they look like mosquito bites going all up my legs where I came in contact with the water (which was not the cleanest btw). They itch like crazy too. I figure they can't be mosquito bites since I would have noticed the little buggers going crazy on my legs biting and whatnot. I'm thinking it might be a water bug or something, either that or algae/ organisms in the water. I'll keep you posted if I find out anything else!

I had something that sounds very similar. I thought I was getting bitten in my sleep. I went to the dermatologist and he diagnosed it as folliculitis. An oral antibiotic cleared it up quickly.

it sounds like a staph infection, every time your body checks it, it comes around another way, my friends daughter got it from her razor she used to shave with, I've even heard of people getting it from using antibacterial soap

Go to the doctor. Please dont second guess the bumps.
It could be scabies, it could be excema, dermatitis , anything.
It could be an allergic reaction to the antibiotic you used.. Go back to the doctor who prescribed the antibiotic.
