I have OCD myself and it's a pretty annoying condition! I used to check if doors and gates were locked repeatedly. Now it's not so bad. Most of it now revolves around everything has to be perfect (i.e. wash my hands before using the computer, etc.)

OCD is a learned habit, for the most part. Sometimes it is genetic too. MY OCD is from growing up in an unstructured environment with a mother that did not keep house well at all.

everybody has disorders normally 3 at a time, till you work on controlling problem then a new one will replace old one, so dont worry try your best to correct a disorder the best you can and know that your not the only one, EVERYBODY suffers from disorders, key thing is to learn how to deal with this, try church, counciling, speaking to others that have same problems you have.main thing is your not by yourself and its nothing that your any different than anybodyelse just most dont talk about it or realize they have a problem, first step of recovery is admiting you have a problem.

no person is acquainted with what reasons OCD. We do understand that there is a robust genetic factor, yet that ecosystem does clarify a number of the variety (why some human beings have it and a few do no longer).

Two things really....a lack of serotonin in the brain, and also, I have noticed that people that are punishing themselves for whatever reason and who feel guilty do this...it is a chemical problem for the most part,...and a good drug for it is Luvox...one of the best...Good luck sweetie, and forgive yourself for whatever it is that is bothering you...
