Sounds as if you're getting enough carbs eating rice/pasta etc - so it doesn't matter if you don't eat bread, although pasta is made from Durrum wheat - if you could eat wholewheat pasta it is better for you, it releases it's sugars more slowly, helping you to feel fuller for longer - but no matter if you don't like it, the other is nearly as good.

The reason that you don't eat bread and especially white bread could be your body telling you!.....I know this sounds strange but you might have an intolerance to wheat. Ask yourself the question 'Do you feel bloated after products made from wheat'? Generaly you would find this if you eat bread on an empty stomach and might then find that you suffer from a bout of hiccups and also feel very full and bloated and generally uncomfortable. Try buying bread made from 'Spelt Flour'. Spelt is an old pre biblical flour which is wheat free and will not cause this problem. It is used in the same way as ordinary wheat flour and has excellent results when making breads, cakes, biscuits, pastry and for sauces too. It can be bought in its natural form which is a very light brown flour but you can also purchase it in the processed form and get it as a white flour too. Most 'Health Food' stores carry it. I use spelt flour all the time as I have to cook for 'food addicts' and part of their regime is to eat both wheat free and sugar free to combat their illness, and it has definite and beneficial results for them. You can buy wheat free pastas too and you will be able to purchase these in most good supermarkets. Do try spelt and also wheatfree pastas and see how you feel! Good luck with them! You might trying reading Kay Sheperd's books on food addiction and how certain foodstuffs affect our bodies.

I don't eat much bread either because I am of east Asian heritage. You can get fiber from other sources including the rice and vegetables you eat. Some people are allergic to wheat.
Try substituting buckwheat for your rice. It is delicious. Buckwheat is not wheat at all, but a type of achene. It is a tasty seed from a flower. Buckwheat has a sweet nut-like flavor and is wonderful in soups or any dish eaten with rice. In Asia, it is used for making noodles. It is very nutritious and helps in digestion. Buckwheat is loaded with magnesium so it lowers blood pressure and helps keep the artery walls elastic and healthy. Like whole grain foods, it moves fat and cholesterol from the body.
