There is nothing wrong with being 24 and single. If people are nagging you say, hey I have other things on my mind than marriage right now. Talk to them about your school etc.
I think you are smart to wait until you are ready, it shows maturity. Make it clear to these people you have other priorities at the moment!

Im 26 and single, and I get that too. I think its fine to be single until you are ready for a commitment such as marriage. Think about it, companies are requiring more education for their jobs, so yeah you are going to have to stay in school longer, so while you are still in school dont worry about anything except your education. After-all, women are paid less than their male conterparts in all professions, unless they excell in their field of study. Also look at all the eople getting divorced lately, I think if they actually lived with eachother for more than 1 year, they would know if that person is truely compatible with them. So I say do what you want, have fun, enjoy life, and if you meet someone along the way go for it. Good luck to u

Totally normal. Most of my friends are at least 2 years older than you and still party like college students! If that doesn't make you feel better the average age of marriage in America is in the 30's now. But if you do want to get married... Happy Hunting! :)

Yea, i used to get asked that a lot too.... But you know what? It's really annoying... I feel your pain, but the best thing to do is just asnwer them " You'll be the first to receive a wedding inventation" . That would confuse them and they wouldn't ask you again... But yes of course its normal for a women to be single at 24, thats just fine... In today's world the average couple gets married around early 30's so dont rush yourself.. Just make sure you fine the guy that treat you really good, because there is a lot of crappy guy out there... That great guy will come in your life oneday, so just be patience and do your thing...

It's ok if you never want to get married. they all say that. And when you're 28 and not married someone is going to start labeling you as a lesbian. Women used to have to get married but we now have careers of our own so don't feel pressured. Once you get married all you'll hear is "so when are you going to have babies" None of these questions are any one's business and you don't have to answer them. 24 is not old. You have an entire life to live, god willing. you're barely out of your teens. Women are still competing w/ generations before us. Some people think the standard is to get married and have kids before 25. Live by your own rules.

It sounds like you are content being single and have a lot going for yourself, so don't let others get to you or define your life for you. After all, it's your life and your choices, and you shouldn't be pressured by others into something you are not ready for. Btw, I think it's great that you are taking control of your life by focusing on fitness and planning out your career. Best of luck!
