LOL.... Where do you come up with such questions, Betty? Sometimes, i do not know if you are being serious, sacastic, joking or just being plain silly.... No, neither Adam nor Eve was a neanderthal man.
Hmmm... There wasn't a need to sleep in caves because it has not rain yet... Maybe they are garden people or tree people but definitely not cave people...hahaha....actually i don't know... but i do know their occupation... they were gardeners... they tend the garden.

Hahaha! Not at all my dear. Adam and Even were "garden people" not cave people, they were created perfect in the image of God Himself. And when God look at them He was very happy and pronounced it "Good!" If people would rather believe a book written by a scientist who insist he came from monkey, it is their business.
But I would rather believe the book written by inspiration of God and has been around for two thousand years without change or correction to its theory or story of how the earth was created, while the book of Darwin has been revised several times in less than two hundred years.
Perhaps people will say, that shows the evolutionists books are written by learned scientists so that it need correction as often as possible, while the other Book was written by ignoramous meagerly educated farmers and fishermen, so they do not need correction, once and for all. It might be logical to them. It is not my business.

no caves they lived in the garden until they sinned.
and yes is was very real.
Adam is a key figure in Scripture. He is described as the "first Adam," the one who brought sin into the world. He made it necessary for Jesus, the "last Adam," to atone for all humans, and then rise from the grave with the promise of complete redemption for fallen man and fallen creation. If Adam was just a myth, we would not be able to fully understand the work of Jesus. If Adam and Eve were not real, then we ought to doubt whether their children were real too, and their children...and then we ought to doubt the first 11 chapters of Genesis, and so on. All the genealogies accept Adam as being a literal person, so their children Cain and Abel (Genesis 4:9,10; Luke 11:50,51) must be real too. Jesus was descended from Adam, and it is impossible to be descended from a myth.

Okay, I believe Adam and Eve were real. And I also believe they had intelligence. Or else why would God give Adam the job of naming all the animals and caring for them. Genesis 2:19
Neanderthals were not smart enough to even talk.

I don't know for sure. The teachings of science has changed and been revised hundreds of times in my lifetime and I am 40. When I went to school we had the Pee King Man and Nebraska man and all that stuff which is now invalid. I personally believe we can discover truth and discard it for fables and swags too. The Bible remains unchanged so I will stick to that. It does not say what Adam looked like. For all I know, he could of been 70 feet tall and purple.
May the Lord richly bless you.

Adam and Eve are merely a figure of speech. they are designed to instruct and influence the minds of people . this is the first psychology or close to it to be used to promote and guide the people on a relatively primitive earth. Hope you get more from it than you show.
peace out
