My gf period got delayed for 10 days as of today. We had intercourse but never left the sperm inside. we both are worried and thinking that whats the reason for the delay of period. Can there be any other reason also for the delay..after how many days its confirmed that some one is pregnent.

It is a sign of pregnancy but there are MANY reasons that can cause a delay, especially of only 10 days. Home pregnancy tests that can be bought at most stores are supposed to be accurate. Although there are a lot of other symptoms of pregnancy, she may not have any other ones right now even if she were pregnant. A visit to a doctor could probably tell you more but 10 days isn't a long time. She should probably quit any bad habits that she has just in case she is pregnant but depending on what kind of birth control you use, there are a lot of other reasons besides pregnancy.

Hi Pooja, There is nothing to be tensed, since you are not pregnant why to worry but pls get check up done for the abnormalities in your periods, since you are on medication it is proper when you are taking midicine, but stopping when you are not taking. You should take medicines for some time and dont stop so soon. Getting delayed periods can be a reason for any other gynea probs, so go and see a gynea.

It could be a sign of pregnancy if she 10 days late. Stress could also cause her to be late. There are some pregnancy test that she can take 1st day her period is late. Go get a test. Don't worry in till you know for sure... Good Luck.

First of all. Teens can miss period. You dont know if sperm got inside her or not. Take a pregnancy test. It'll be stress relief

It may be that is preganancy, go to lab and take a cerium preganancy test, it is just like blood test,
If got positive - she is pregnent and take a doctor's consultation.
If got negative - She is "normal woman"

hi there if she is really stressed about things that can stop her periods from starting ......so can the fact that she could be preganent ......go to the doctors and get things checked out or but a home preg test and do it first thing in the morning as if there is any little dude in there it should be picked up but please get this checked out .....
