I do, but I still love Jesus and the Father very much. I am a person who is not backwards in coming forwards. What sins do you still struggle with? I have given up the main ones, of drinking, pubs, clubs, having abortions(had 2). I was not a Christian at the time, and have taken them to God for forgivness. I still struggle with my bad laungue sometimes, and still battle a bit with my anger, although I am getting it a bit under control. What sins do you battle? And do not say you do not sin just because you are a Christian now, because we are born sinners, and my mother once said, we will not be perfected until we get to Heaven. I will tell you what I hate with a passion, I hate hypocrites, who say they are Christians and yet go around Judging everybody in sight and have the holy than thou art attitude. Mate, that peves (how ever you spell it) me off. I shall give you an example. I have someone take me to their church 2 years ago, and I was asked by this snobby thing, And what Church

do you go to in a very snobby tone, as I was only a brand new Christian at the time. I told her I did not go to church, and she said in an attitude that somebody else probally would have punched out, I tell ya I really felt like it, and she said "You are being disobedient. I felt like smacking her out. I Just abused her in front of her face and I told the person who took me to church to get me out of there because I was really going to loose it. I do not act Holy than thou art, as I know I am not Holy. I wish other Chrstians can say that. I have had a rough as guts life, and even though I have exepted Jesus, I will not take any crap from anybody, wheather they are Chrstians or not. I am telling ya if some of them had even been through half of what I went through they would be dead, 100% gaurantee. How do you cope when other christians are up themselves. Like I said mate, I still love Jesus, and the Father and I am only saved by grace becausue Jesus did not die in vain

Well i think think that with the language deal.... i believe that is not a sin.... kinda like this.... i could call someone stupid idiot or i could call the a stupid mother f'r it's the same meaning just because the second on has a curse word doesn't make it worse then the first.... the bible says that a sin is a sin PERIOD no exceptions well the bible says @ss talking about a donkey well if a sin is a sin.... and cursing was a sin.... then would it be safe to say by that standard anyone that reads the bible Aloud is not going to heaven? as far as the drinking and clubs go here is my take.... the bible Also states that you should not drink to get drunk... how i learned it was when you are drunk it's alot more easy to commit worse sins (murder, adultery, etc.) just ask god to help you he will... i believe that if you are a genuine good person and if you love, and help people you will be OK i also believe you have to ask Jesus into your heart and live for him, however i do not believe that he cares about the way that you look or what you listen to... i can't help it i like rock i like the beats and the guitars.... i don't like Cristian music (sorry) and i don't believe it's a sin because Jesus knows you he knows you better then you know you as long as you believe and you try that's all you can do....

I was bought up in a Christian family and therefore have lived like a Christain ever since I can remember-I know that living in a Christian family didn't make me Christian but it did mean that I lived differently to other children e.g I never swore or said oh my God so no I don't ever swear because I just never have.Of course I sin though.
Yea being a Christian is sometimes very hard, but most of the time I think it makes life easier for me. I think that the fact that you know there is always someone who loves you and feels your pain and will never let you down relieves a lot of stress and worry.

Wow, are you looking for one answer or for a testimony?! LOL.
I think humans will always struggle with sin, even Paul wrote that the battle is not flesh and blood, but principalities. There is one here in the High Desert (halfway between Vegas and LA). The principality is addiction and I see it so much everyday I live here. People have a hard time seeing the spiritual realm of where their actions come from.
My personally issues that I have given to God do not need to be discussed on internet, only forgiven by God. Thank you, Jesus for Your salvation.

I believe I am Christian. I however do not go to an church. I feel that religion is based on one person's translation of the Bible. I Pray daily, I know the bible and I ask God for his forgiveness. I feel that people who judge others are wrong. God tells us that he is the only judge there for we should let him do the judging. As for being around those people that are like that God says turn the other cheek. You also have the choice who you do or do not hang around with.
I also do cuss on a regular basis. Not that I should. But how do we know what words are considered wrong to the Lord other than when using the lords name in vain.
Sins that I personally battle with is I am a smoker. I am not treating my body as the temple the Lord has asked me too.
Remember that the Lord gives forgiveness to those who ask for it.

I understand, but i think you mean you are bothered by these people not hateful. I would say i have quit smoking and drinking also but the other things are hard, like being really lazy, eating junk food all the time, masturbation witch isn't bad but when your married or in a serious relationship to me it is wrong and disrespectful and I sometimes just can't stop but gets better with age(i'm26) cause of lowering sex drive it gets played out. And Revenge is the worst bad feeling i can't stop. But nobody can completely stop all these things so just try to be a good person.

Certainly. Jesus warns us that it is going to be hard. It is like carrying our crosses as we travel on this world following His footsteps and doing what He commands us.
Yes, there is none of us who is perfect. Even the Apostle Paul exclaims, "O wretched man that I am", and "I am the chief of sinners."
That's how I feel myself , too. But there is comfort in His assurance that we can walk with Him and He will make our burden light, and give us the power to resist the devil or overcome any temptation. Don't worry about what other people say. Rather trust His promises and hang on unto Him.
It is the tactic of the devil to use the hypocrites to discourage us.
That's why we should not look to them but concentrate our gaze on Jesus alone.
As we travel together with Him, it becomes light and easy.
Thus His invitation: 28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)
Here is one of my favourite song which best describe it:
It's Not An Easy Road
E A E
It's not an easy road we are travelling to heaven
B F7 B7
For many are the thorns on the way
E A E
It's not an easy road, but the Saviour is with us
B7 E
His presence gives us joy every day
Chorus:
A E
No, no, it's not an easy road
A E B B7
No, no, it's not an easy road
E
But Jesus walks beside me
A E
And brightens the journey
B7 E
And lightens the heavy load
It's not an easy road, there are trials and troubles
And many are the dangers we meet
But Jesus guards and keeps so that nothing can harm us
And smooths the rugged path for our feet
Chorus
Though I am often footsore and weary from travel
Though I am often bowed down with care
A better day is coming when home in the glory
We'll rest in perfect peace over there
Chorus

I was once mildly ridiculed by this atheist who seems to despise Christianity. He’s someone I met up with over coffee to discuss work and I saw my cross pendant and asked if I’m a Christian. I said yes and he said in a mildly derisively tone “oh.. how does it benefit your life, may I ask?” and smirked. He then went on to say he studied in the US in his youth and was disgusted whenever he watched the Christian religious/evangelistic channels on TV. I was quite discomforted by his questions. It wasn’t as if he asked me sincerely as someone who has an open heart and genuinely wants to know God. Even if he’s against the faith, there’s no need to make believers feel cheapened. What an asshole. Then later I read in the bible that Christ told me I will be ridiculed and hated bcos I love Him and they hate Him. It felt like a privilege already…

Every Christian still struggles. With anything and everything. Mine personally are porn, drinking, language, smoking, etc. I am not by any means a great example, but I do know that the love and wisdom I have now serve as great starting points for those who have not yet come to Christ. The struggle to become more Christlike will continue until the day I die. But it becomes easier day by day the more I focus on Him and His purpose for my life. He will carry you if need be. Isn't that great!??

Christian life is hard but the trials that we go through are never in vain if we believe we have a loving Father who wants to shape us and mold us to what he knows we could be.
problems will come and go, to a believer and nonbeliever alike but i've rather go through them knowing that God is in control and that my problems will not last indefinitely.
That said, being a Christian is a work in progress and we will slip along the way and say some not very nice words in our frustations.

Thanks for being honest! I've been a Christian thirty something years and I get steamed up and swear sometimes, I get angry and shout, I am lazy sometimes, I'm rebellious and disobedient sometimes. I'm human and so are you. God accepts us exactly where we are at and loves us enough to gradually change us. He desires us to seek Him in Spirit and in truth. We don't fool God with our false faces and bigotry and lack of love. Yet He keeps working away at our character....moulding us to be more and more like Jesus. We are alerted to our sins, mistakes, selfishness and we say sorry and accept His forgiveness. Some Christians just say whatever comes to their minds and turn so many people off Christianity. I'm sorry that lady told you bluntly that you should be going to a church...some churches are emptying for obvious reasons. I find cell groups that meet in homes much mre friendly but hey you will be disappointed by most Christians because we are all a "work in progress." If God loves us regardless of our faults and is helping us to change...then lets forgive and be blessings to each other....the world will know us by our love. I've been a know-all, fallen short so many times, fallen over and my Father picks me up, been wrong, had wrong attitudes, been arrogant and self-righteous. Thank the Lord that only He trully knows what I am truly like and still loves me! At the moment I am struggling with overeating...the Lord and I am working on that! You are real and so many Christians are not. You will be let down by Christians but Christ will NEVER NEVER LET YOU DOWN or Give up on You. You are the apple of His eye and He won't let you down. Rejoice in Him and trust your loving accepting Father to lead you and walk with you. Delight in your relationship with Him and He will give you the desires of your heart. But dn't hold unforgiveness inside or it will prevent you from progressing in this journey toward knowing God more and more. God Bless You. AROHA
