She realized that you were the best she could do.

OR

She dumped you for someone else and now they are finished and she wants you back.

Either way stay away from her. She is only playing games with you!

she still has feelings for you on some level and it hurts when you break up and your ex just seems to hate your guts.Theres always the hope that even though things didnt work out romanticly for one reason or another that two people can be mature enough to see the good in each other and remain freinds.I think its really sad you told her to f off I mean it doesnt sound like she is being mean to you or anything and she still is a person with feelings. It may be that your immature in that regard.Sure it hurts to get dumped but do you take no responsibility in the fact that it didnt work out right now?Maybe you are both immature or maybe she went through a rough time and she regrets breaking up with you heck I dont know but you have to open your eyes to all the possibilitys. What was going on in her personal life when you broke up?Sometimes girls just decide they cant handle it all.Its what I call boyfreind stress when you have family stress ,school stress, work stress the easiest one to get rid of is the boyfreind.Thats why I broke up with my boyfreind after my Dad passed away I just couldnt handle it so maybe if you look you might be able to forgive her and at least be freinds. She may of been going through a tough time when you broke up.

That kind of depends on which basis she is contacting you and the content of your conversations.

In most cases, I would say that she is just very curious as to how you are doing and maybe a tiny part of her carries some regret but for the mainpart, I would hazard a guess at pure curiosity and a "need" to know whether you had managed to move on without her. Not necessarily for any other reason than to absolve herself of any guilt. Hence the reason so many people "want to be friends" after a split.

She is probably trying to find out if you two can have a friendship. Even though you two are not together now you were together for 4 years. Just to let everything go is hard. You know that in your heart you really don't want to to just go away and f*** off. Answer her calls and see what she wants. You two know so much about each other, maybe a friendship is what you really need.

If you really are not just enjoying the heck out of all this, then put a restraining order against her. If she calls, comes within a certain amount of feet near you, emails you, she can be arrested. The restraining order itself should give her a more positive message. Then back it up.

She probably is trying to get back with you again, at least thats what it sounds lie. But she shouldn't be putting you through that break up-2-make up game so just leave her alone.

She may still have a heart string for you, she's probley wondering what you have been doing like (other girls), probley because you havent called her to tell her you want her back!

because she's thinking that maybe she wants to try again, and 4 years is a lot to throw away, so at least hear what she has to say...
