I am not a doctor, nor am I qualified to give medical advice. But I was a nail technician, and I can offer this: Your nails are breathable, so the anti fungal does absorb into the nail and goes beneath the surface. If you are using an over the counter med, in most cases, it will need to be applied daily, and can take up to a year or more. The fungus runs deep under the surface and can take quite some time for it to take affect. Another remedy of a homeopathic nature you may want to try is a vapor rub one would use for a chest congestion and apply it in the same way you are using the anti fungal cream. Not to use them together but try doing this if you are low on cash.....Same affect, same amount of time, but cheaper. Always check with your doctor before you try anything new. Good luck.
