I'm taking a 4 days trip to Cairns. Can anyone tell me the best tourist attractions in Cairns? I enjoy places with nature! If anyone has taken a trip there, is there any particular tours you recommend? Thanks!

Green island is awesome. take a cruise over there and go snorkelling. it is a part of the great barrier reef and has lots of coral, fish directly off the beach.

also, head up to kurand up the train or the skyrail. the markets are up there and are really great - especially if you wanna get some souveniers.

port douglas is really nice too

and dont forget the daintree - especially if you like nature.

Green Island has a resort and a beautiful beach called Nudey Beach (I think it's Green Island, there are two main islands people go to). The rest of the reef and islands with snorkelling and diving in the coral is good. The train trip to Kuranda is nice. You cann go to the market there, see the Djapukai Aboriginal performers and bungee jump if you like and come back on the sky rail which is good value. The Daintree Rainforest and River is also a good day trip. The esplanade in Cairns is great for promenading and the sea food buffets tend to be great value at the hotels. I love Cairns.

Went there for my honeymoon august last year, you HAVE to go out onto the reef its the most wonderful thing you will ever see! We went with sunlover cruses it was just amazing! So beautiful! If you go take an underwater camera for the snorkling! We also did Karunda which was ok, and we went to Hartleys Crocodile farm and I had a photo holding a croc! It was cool!
