Since the Bible says that no man can see God and live, I don't think an accurate picture could be painted, drawn, etc. but I haven't seen people trying either. Are you sure you aren't referring to pictures of Jesus??

I don't know but I think many were Roman Catholic inspired. I've also heard the legend that the famous painter Leonardo Da Vinci used the same model for Jesus that he unwittingly used some years later for Judas and he was so worn down with hard living that Da Vinci didn't recognize him. The varied photos are completely incorrect as Jesus was not lily white but a rugged outdoors person whose hands were not limp and sissified and delicate but those of a hard working carpenter. Besides, no one who painted Him had ever seen Him. We do have an accurate description of what He looks like now in Heaven in the book of Revelations. Isaiah described Him as an ordinary human form: "For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him."

I only want to appreciate if the atheist can surely furnish the final answer as they are so confident that God did no longer create life? - i will teach that the biblical version is a delusion. All of genesis grew to become into plagiarized from the Sumerian pills having no longer something to do with deities so "god turning out to be life" is a delusion. - As to proving the place life got here from, we settle for a organic technique considering the fact that that has information. A deity magically forming life is a delusion considering the fact which you have yet to teach a deity exists and that what youi use as a information is a nicely shown delusion. - There you have truthfully information and information and no hypothesis.

God is never described physically in the Bible, neither is Jesus. Jesus was a dark skinned man (like the region he came from). Blue eyes were unheard of, facial hair was prevalent, long hair on men was not.
Who knows what inspires artists to paint the way they do...I guess people need a visual before they can believe. Blessed are those who believe and yet can not see, it's called Faith.

You insult God to even try to depict a being of it's nature in Human form!
God is everything-Good and Bad! Angels and devils are it's minions and creatures we can relate to!
An analogy of God is the major snow storm that comes off the ocean. It wipes out crops, causes people to crash their cars and die and causes blackouts and inconveniences!
It also puts the snow on the mountains that supplies the rivers so people have water the next year, enables Skiers to have fun, looks beautiful and supports the people who are operating the mountain lodges!
God is everything and everywhere-we are part of God and God controls everything we are about! We pray for God to be fair and just to us based on our actions and intentions,-UNLESS you are Jewish, then It just gets a kick out of constantly TESTING you!!!!
Oy, no vey!!!
