I had to move away from my love. I am so heartbroken because I won't see him for 6 months and he will be living in a different country. My heart is aching. Please pray for me. I am scared I will feel heartbroken until I see him again.

Am sorry to say but why are you heart broken? Yes you live in a different country and don't see each other much but there are ways to communicate. Phone, E-mail, Yahoo Messenger and there are Web cams.
Am sorry honey but if you think you have it hard read this:
My boyfriend at the time deployed to Iraq in Jan. 2004 and came home for 2 weeks in June. 2004 we got married a week after we got married he went back to Iraq. He came back from Iraq in Jan. 2005. He deployed yet AGAIN on Nov. 2005 that same year. He has been gone for a total of 2 1/2 years and you want to know how long we have been together? .... 3 years. He was shot at, mortar at. I didn't hear from him in a month...I didn't know if he was o.k. or he was hurt....every day I lived heartbroken and worried. We haven't spent Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years together in the past 3 years. He miss our first 2 anniversaries and we missed each others 21st birthdays.
Am not complaining about any of this...I Love What He Does
So honey if you think you have it hard think again. There are thousand and thousands of families going through this and have it worse than you. So next time you want to say your heartbroken think again and remember the MILITARY WIFE and Keep US in YOUR PRAYERS!

It will be fine. You'll probably be closer once you get back together because of being away from each other. Just try to enjoy your time apart as best as you can. It will be hard I'm sure. I've been away from someone I loved for 3 months but never 6. I couldn't even stand to hear his voice on the phone without crying my eyes out. It was good for our relationship though.

Why are you so heartbroken ? Was it your decision or his ? does he still call you ? If he has moved away to avoid you then probably you can feel a bit low for sometime. But if he has moved out for better future of you both then i think is best you cheer yourself up and show him that you stand by his side in whatever he does :)

You shouldnt be...you both are not breaking up...this maybe good anyway too test both of your love. 6 months will pass by pretty fast, just makes your self busy w family& friends, making new friends, start a new hobby/activities or even join any clubs.
Sms him everyday, call him and even have phone sex w him regularly, email him, give him little suprise now and then by sending a small hamper, chocolates, sweet letter..then you both will keep the passion burn even though you are far awar from each other.

i understand. but don't worry, true love will sustain. so long as both of you make an effort to communicate regularly with each other, say email, phone or text messages, it'll be fine. in fact, by the end of 6 months, the love between both of you could be rekindled by the yearning for each other till it feels like both of you all are totally in love all over again like the first time both of you get together. absence makes the heart grow fonder :)

I know it hurts, but think of all the families of the military. they are away from each other and their lives are in danger every minute they are in these other countries..You will get through, there a lot of ways to keep in touch, use eveyone...good luck to you and everyone that is away from their loved ones......

vally-c is right with her answer. and see it of another sight : how do u think its gonna be when u see each other again? between a lot of copples is it that way that u can love an understand each other better after a distance!! (even when i know how u feeling right know)
